beautiful eating, beautiful decor, friendly staff. really nice gastro. I had a chicken kiew on saffron rice, with a herby sauce and green on top and a coconut panna citta, sorbet and ananas for dessert. delicious!

absolutely amazing country pub for Sunday dinner. eating was also fantastic, generous portions. great atmosphere and view of the square. the staff was very polite and helpful. we will definitely visit again very soon!

a first visit, really impressed by the meals, I had lamb, my daughter partner bark very large portions including appetizers. would fill every appetit. a good portion drinks. a pleasant lunch. parking space a bit necessary.

Having stayed in Wortley hall we ventured to the local Wortley Arms for further drinks. The food being served around us looked very appetising and there was a selection of cask ales to sample. Staff were great and prices reasonable.

Arranged a large group lunch at The Wortley Arms as in previous years the whole booking managed seamlessly, Jamie the Manager with the Chef designed a limited menu at a reasonable price and the food looked and tasted like a MasterChef presentation! The service from all the staff is exceptional and it feels like we are coming home despite our Lunches being just yearly! Thank you Wortley Arms wouldn't hesitate to recommend you!

for a lunchtime in the week. early advised so that first a drink was in the bar. what a friendly atmosphere! how a pub should be. neepsend blonde on for real ale fans. that's great, by the way. thrown into the dining room. packed with character and shared the atmosphere with the duct space. eating was a very pleasant surprise. an imaginative menu and after sampling some, I assume that the cook is very talented. in any case a step up from the pub food, but without the price; happy days. the personal is the first advice round and lets you smile. can't wait to come back!

Went for a mid week evening meal. Arrived early so had a drink in the bar first. What a friendly atmosphere! Just how a pub should be. Neepsend blonde on for Real ale fans. Which is by the way magnificent. Went into the dining room to eat. Packed with character and shared the atmosphere with the tap room. The food was a very pleasant surprise. An imaginative menu and after sampling some, I presume the chef is very talented indeed. Definitely a step up from pub food but without the price ; happy days. Staff are first rate all round and leave you smiling. Can't wait to return!
