Lord Nelson - Speisekarte

Had a lovely meal at the Lord Nelson. The meat and potato pie was lovely with nice homemade chips. My husband had a Ribeye steak which he said was delicious. We will be back very soon. The service was very efficient and friendly.

We hadn’t been in this pub for a number of years although we did used to be regulars many years ago. We just thought we’d try it and were not disappointed. Reasonably priced menu with lots of choices and served very quickly. Very friendly and efficient bar staff. I’m sure we’ll return before too long.

I made a reservation for two for Sunday dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband ordered the ribeye and I had scampi, and our meal was perfect. The service was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced, as was our food. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning. Speisekarte ansehen

Haven’t been to the Lord Nelson for a while so thought we’d give it a try as we live quite local. Served by a very pleasant young man, ordered kebabs and steak pie. All delicious and just right size portions. The chips were cooked perfect Reasonable priced drinks and excellent service. Will definitely go back again

This charming pub offers delicious food with a clean environment and friendly staff. The menu is varied and the food is outstanding, especially the hunters chicken and pie served with homemade chips. The hunters chicken was served on a sizzler and was perfectly hot. The triple chocolate cheesecake was amazing, served with a classy presentation of ice cream on a decorated plate. I will definitely be returning to this pub.

We have visited several times recently for various meals and this restaurant never disappoints!!! The food is always cooked to perfection whatever we chose. Sunday lunch is always delicious especially with the huge, home cooked Yorkshires!! Steak night is such a treat!! The chefs cook the steak beautifully along with tasty homemade, what I call real chips and fresh crispy onion rings!!! We always experience a high standard of service from the lovely team of staff. I visited this restaurant for the second time in a few months and definitely plan on returning often. I tried the burgers, pies, and kebabs, all of which were delicious. The service provided by a young man and woman was excellent - they were very polite and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and serving customers. I appreciate the simplicity of everything at this restaurant - good hosts, great service, delicious food. I almost forgot to mention, the desserts are also excellent. Overall, well done Lord Nelson. Very disappointed this time. Avid long time customer and not one to complain however, it just didn 't meet the usual high standards. A group of 3 adults and we had Sharing Nachos requested with no jalapenos but arrived with them. Not a major issue. I had the beef halloumi burger from the specials board. Was very dry, no salad was served with it either. Wife had the waffle burger. Again very dry and no salad served. 3rd person had hunters chicken sizzler, chicken was rubbery and the whole dish was way oilier than normal. We stopped off here after football on a Sunday has a family treat and really wasn’t great. We walked in to doing five rounds of the restaurant before the young girl eventually found us a table. We ordered two burgers and the Sunday lunch. The starters weren’t great we had prawn cocktail and breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms were deep fried and used old fat and the prawn cocktail had that much sauce it made you feel sick wasn’t impressed.
