"Absolutely disgusting customer service avoid. Called up to ask about allergens/ingredients in their dishes before ordering online, as I have a severe allergy to gluten and lactose. The staff member who answered the phone said he “cannot help”, so I asked to speak to someone else. He said he will get someone, then after a long pause, he disconnected the call. I called back and got through to someone else, who helped me by liaising with the chef about the allergy order. I then called again to ask one more question about another dish we wanted to add to our order and got through to the first person who hung up on me earlier. He said “I have already spoken to you, you need to try somewhere else, go to another shop.” Not believing what I had just heard, I asked him to repeat what he said, and he repeated “go to another shop!” and then hung up the phone, again! We called back to tell the manager what had happened and that we were indeed going to another shop as his staff member suggested. So rude and so unhelpful. I have never had a conversation like this in all the years I have been speaking to restaurant staff about food allergies. Clearly no regard for customers with allergy requirements, which a busy restaurant should at least have a process for (and I know they do from eating here before, AND the from speaking to the second person the same evening). So even just a pleasant conversation to say sorry but I don’t know would have been appreciated. Rude man who simply couldn’t be bothered to assist! Won’t be ordering from here in future."
