"My partner and I were traveling across the country and decided to stop at this restaurant on our way to a hotel in Cheddar Gorge. We were impressed with the delicious homecooked food, excellent quality, and generous portions. I ordered the salmon fillet, which was fantastic, and my partner tried the homemade faggots, which were the best they had ever tasted. The staff were friendly, polite, and took the time to chat with us. We enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to stop by again on our way back home, and were pleased to find the same great quality and service. We had the opportunity to speak with the owner, a lovely lady who does all the cooking herself. We wished the restaurant was closer to our home so we could dine there more often. Overall, great value and highly recommended."
