"My husband and I went to this restaurant in July this year. The menus are written in French. We were able to make out a smoked salmon dish on the menu so both ordered this. We also saw some sort of a beef dish and both ordered it also. When our mains came it was RAW MINCE with mushrooms on top which hid the fact it was raw. I started to eat it and realised it was raw and was near sick. I left it sitting until the waiter came, my husband didnt touch his. The waiter asked me what was wrong with his and I said it's raw I dont and never have ate raw meet. He took it away to have it cooked some more which took a long time. Meanwhile my husband's main is still in front of him untouched. When my main came back it was still very raw and the hunger had passed us both by this time. So being very unhappy I stated I would pay for the drink and starters that was all. The owner came to me and was extremely rude. He shouted at me in a really loud voice in French in front of everyone. The waiter brought me to inside the premises with my husband. The owner came in to us and ordered me to pay the full bill. I stated no as my husband didnt touch his and I barely touched mine. I informed him we both do not eat raw meet and would never do so. He shouted at me even more loudly this time and stated he was going to get the police. I told him to do so if he so desired. He came back and asked was I English and I said yes. He then shouted to us Get Out, Get Out, Get Out and grabbed his cheeks and pushed his face into mine shaking his cheeks. I dont know what this was about but he was so aggressive I started to cry. He walked out and left us there 15 minutes. We stood there prepared to pay for what we ate. He came back again ranting and raving this time again in French and told us to get out. I told the waiter I will pay for what we ate and drank as I have manners and wouldnt leave without doing so. This greatly upset me and left me crying for most of the remainder of the night. I had to go back to my apartment I was so upset and was greatly upset and disturbed for a few days. I wanted to get home he upset me so much. With an owner like this I would advise not to go near this place. Also he had friends 6, at a table and he worshiped them all night. Paid no attention to his paying customers. He also obviously has a problem with English people. My husband and I were here for our 30th wedding anniversary and didnt want this sort of reception at all. It is also extremely pricey."

"Visited for my 30th birthday, tried to go last night but it was fully booked with queues so booked for this evening instead. Table booked for 7pm, Well we arrived at 6.54 to which the waiter told us they weren’t open for another 15 mins even though we had booked for 7pm. We walked around nice arrived back after 7pm were seated by around 7.10pm. The menu sounded good, a lovely typical French restaurant, perfect for what I was looking for for my birthday. Especially with all the brilliant reviews from online. We ordered a carafe of wine, and a bottle of still water. We chose mussels, egg parfait beef pate the pate was a little like a pork pie and had burnt bits in it, the egg parfait was nice not what we were expecting but that could be due to translation, runny yolk the mussels were in presented in an almost olive oil water they really lacked in flavour. We had eaten mussels in the square the day before which had more flavour. For main we had two chefs risotto, duck with dauphinois I decided to have two starters as main the tuna tartare mussels. The risotto was good, with a fresh lemon running though it but nothing special. The duck lacked salt massively but the dauphinoise was nice. The mussels again we tasteless however the tuna tartare was delicious what I had hoped the whole meal would have tasted like. It was very fresh packed full of flavour. We paid the bill and we’re in and ate two courses within an hour of sitting down. no exaggeration. The bill was €171 we enjoyed a far better dinner at Type 55 (down the road) 3 courses with a bottle of wine for the same price. Very disappointing, not what I expected from a Michelin recommendation all the recommendations online. A real shame being our last night in nice."

"Don't stay here if you like food. Prices are ridiculous and food is not rising. I am a vegan, so I understand that it may be more difficult to adapt to this, but the chef said he could prepare me a special vegan dish. I received an unsealed falafel plate with a side of literal lettuce, not even a salad or rice or potatoes or houmous or anything to make it a "inflated" but I was charged €24 for that. My friend had the risotto in calamars, the fade rice with a dry consistency and soft calamars. The view of the restaurant was amazing if you have a place first as we did. Service, location, atmosphere and cleanliness are all classified 10/10, but food needs serious work. Ideal for a drink or dessert but not a meal. (Original view) Don't go ICI if you like food. "Made a reservation in this cozy and small restaurant during our stay in Nice. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and seated at our table. It was a Tuesday night so it was faily quiet. To see the menu, you would need to scan their QR code at the table. There was a choice of 5 or 7 courses menu with pairing wines as an option, with a price tag of 55 or 79 euros respectively. We chose the 7 courses. Here is our feedback on the food: Firstly, the appearance and presentation of the food. Presentation is good but could have been better, while the appearance is blunt and grey, not Instagram friendly. Perhaps, it is the menu and choice of ingredients used. Looking at the photos posted on their site, the dishes were colourful and appeared appetizing. We guess we were just unlucky for our visit. Taste-wise, it is acceptable but not gloryingly spectacular. We are frequent fine dining and Michelin restaurants diners. We have had high expectation and looked forward to tasting the food, but could not helped feeling a tad disappointed especially seeing the positive reviews about the restaurant. The table service was very good and the gentleman serving us was attentive and informative. He even offered me a shawl (no cushions) to support my back as the chair seats are not well padded and least comfortable. The decor was warm and cozy with varying types of wicker hanging light shades. There is promising opportunity for the restaurant to escalate to a higher level of fine dining. It was a good experience for us to dine at Influence Nice and tried out their food. There is nothing negative about the service, only our constructive observations of the menu choice and ingredients used. Our sincere best wishes to Chef Aurele Gasperoni and his team in making the restaurant a sucess. The Wise-Ones April 2023"
