"this place gets 1 star from me because our overall experience in this restaurant has been horrible thanks to the attitude of the host. in an objectivity concern, I will describe our experience with as much details as possible: two weeks before coming to bets, my wife and I made a reservation at this place at 11:45. We arrived around 11:53 and the hosts directed us to one of the bistro tables whose chairs do not have a file. My wife asked if we could have another table, because after a few days of walking and sightseeing, she wanted a comfortable place to sit and enjoy food. the man naturally said no because they had only a table for 4 people available. A few minutes after sitting uncomfortably, my wife asked the man if we could please pass to a table for 2 people when a table liberates because it was uncomfortable, which the man answers grossly that because we were late, they could not welcome us to an ordinary table, and it was not possible to move us either. At the end of our meal, another waiter asked us if everything had gone well, and we said as honestly and politely as possible, that even if the food had been excellent, we sat uncomfortably throughout the meal and were surprised to see us deny an appropriate table despite a reservation well in advance, even after having asked twice. We also mentioned that we were not satisfied with the way the first man had treated us. at this point (12:46), she calls the guy so we can tell him directly. we repeat the same comment, and specify that the table for 4 people is still empty and that we could easily have been accommodated there. The man begins to become aggressive, telling us that we were rude when we said that the table was uncomfortable, shouting at "Would you do my job?" several times in front of everyone, and telling us that the table was empty because they had a reservation at 12:30. Now, how come this table was waiting for 16 minutes after the reservation, but our table wasn't just because we were "bearing" after only 8 minutes? and what kind of host enlists its customers after making a simple request? the customer service is non-existent in this place. and although we have declined its offer to "take its work," I urge the person responsible to consider replacing it with someone who can actually do the job well."

". Even compared to the already high standards of Paris a Superb restaurant. When Americans first go to Paris, France, they are often surprised by the excellence of eating in restaurants. Even mid-level restaurants in Paris have better quality than the average restaurant in the United Sates. Also in Paris there are several restaurants that are not necessarily the highest price, but exemplary in terms of quality and service. Le Louis Restaurant, about 10 to 15 minutes' walk northeast of the Louvre in the first arrondissement, is one of these restaurants. It is not a huge restaurant, so for a traveling couple it is very intimate and the service exemplary. Due to the limited number of tables, a group of more than six can be difficult to accommodate. My brother and I found this little jewel of a restaurant recently in our first night in Paris in the second week of July 2015. The salmon salad as an appetizer (aka entrée in French) was one of the best seafood salads I ever had. One order is a lot for two. Then I chose the calfs that might have been the best calfs I've ever eaten. The savory cuts were perfectly grilled with a hint of alertness. We both had deserts that were amazing again. The price was unbeatable for all quality. We definitely went to more expensive restaurants in Paris, where the food was not as good as Le Louis, although of course only about every restaurant in Paris is high quality. If you compare quality and price, Le Louis is one of the best values in Paris. A starter, two plates (aka main dishes) and a few drinks came from about €45, or about $50 US. Even if the service in Paris is included in the price in restaurants, we decided to give something more. My brother and I met a conversation with the owner, a relatively young restorer, who apparently handmade all tables and created the decor that decorates the interior. The inside walls of the white patch penetrate with wooden beams rings of Renaissance architecture and it is beautifully decorated the walls with works of art and antiques, some replicas and a few originals. What struck me, the owner was clearly proud and satisfied with the beautification of his restaurant, so it was just a little more than many other similar restaurants in Paris. While other restaurants regarding decor were certainly very nice, its exceptional. We decided to eat there on our last day, beautiful bookkeepers for a week's stay. At the end of our last meal in Paris, the owner offered us free glasses of desert liqueurs. I want to be back at his table at my next visit. Visited July 2015"

"in one word: had a kirin, the tempura moriawase and a katsudon. kirin was cold, the tempura was excellent, the katsudon was salted (which was sad because he had everything else for him). wonderful to see clean kitchen, efficient and nice service. I'd go back to taste the udon. outside the shell: I went to dinner on Monday. near the beginning of the dinner service (19:00.) was sitting immediately, there was a short queue when I left the restaurant. There was a kirin, a moriawase tempura and a katsudon. edamame (free!) served quickly and a cold and nicely poured kirin. The tempura was wonderful. the presentation, taste, assortment of vegetables, the quantity corresponded to what was expected (taking into account the neighborhood and the price) and were delicious. judicious presentation of accompaniments of dip sauce with ground daikon, garnished with some ginger and tender green onions. No taste of oil, no oil bottle left on the top. so tasty and crispy that I swallowed the tails of shrimp with delight (I usually don't do it if I feel I'm going to chew them forever.) the only reproach I have to do about the tempura is that the dip was a little too concentrated and so salted. I'm the kind to soak when it comes to tempura. I love the tempura bite slightly debridled with a tasty but always crispy sauce dipped a second in the tempura sauce. I just immersed a little less with enthusiasm and the problem was solved here. katsudon, however, was a bit disappointing. everything in its parts was excellent and thoughtful: the rice was well cooked and the pickles that accompanied it placed next to the dish were well made and a tasty contrast. The egg was perfectly cooked and cooked in the heat of the dish and the onions were finely sliced but still had biting. But overall, it was too salty. I like salt. I think salt repairs almost everything that tastes not good. But the katsudon was really very salty. the katsu dressing was pre-seasoned, the pig himself was pre-seasoned (too good, I think. too seasoned meat could be the main culprit here.) all stages are nice and careful. but the combination of well-seasoned meat and a well-seasoned panure gave a katsu too salty for this sapple-phile! the strong point here is that the soy sauce that was in the katsudon was also salted (a little reminiscent of this concentrated tempura sauce!) but unfortunately, they are famous for their udon (but it was a sort of katsudon day, you know?), so maybe I got wrong. I should come back to taste their udon. four stars because everything is already there: quality, careful and efficient kitchen (but not pressed) and friendly service. and a clean kitchen. Yes. They just need to relax a little with the salt."
