"Today, on the 25th, I went for lunch at this restaurant. The bar staff were welcoming and pleasant, however, the food was not very good. My husband ordered the chicken wings, which were okay, but I had the steak melt. Unfortunately, the steak was mostly gristle, with just a thin layer of cheese and two small, limp baby gem lettuce leaves. The chips were good, but overall, the meal was disappointing. When I went to pay, the person behind the bar asked if my food was okay, and I mentioned the issue with the steak. I was met with a simple apology. I don't plan on eating here again, which is a shame because the interior looks like it has been improved. The average price per person is between £10 and £20. I would rate the food a 2, service a 3, and atmosphere a 3."

"I love the plant-based menu have been a regular since they opened. However the last few months prices have increased considerably which makes me think twice about going. We are vegan so I appreciate plant-based food is quite labour-intensive however the price point in my opinion is very much on the high side. I noticed it has been far quieter so perhaps others are thinking the same. Additionally staff have changed. The service is sadly inattentive. It seems difficult to catch anyone’s eye even when its quiet. You wait a long time for anyone to come to the table to give you a menu so definitely quicker to get one yourself. No-one comes to ask if you’d like a dessert or a drink so again better to return to the counter. Finally a large number of menu items have chilli in them which is a problem for those who cannot tolerate chilli. People I know who don’t tolerate chilli won’t go back. This may have changed since writing this review, however it certainly was the case. On the plus side, good to see the improvements to the garden. Love the awning. Has been welcome shade on hot days. Overall this is a lovely cafe, with delicious healthy food and a great ambiance. There is definitely room for improvement."

"Stopped for something to eat and drink before going to 02 Victoria warehouse Nice little pub belonging to the weatherspoon chain.. Cheap beer.. Cheap pub food with a great atmosphere.. What Moor do you want.. The place was very busy being a Friday night but we were able to find a table.. Used the weather spoon app for ordering food and drinks.. Got served within minutes of ordering.. Drinks first and then food not long after The food was enjoyable enough and for the price it was more than value for money Toilets were on the second floor with a disabled toilet on the ground floor.. From what I saw.. You have to ask behind the bar for the key.. For sure worth a visit and the staff are friendly and polite.. Which can make all the difference.."

"Yo Sushi is one of my favorite dining choices in Plymouth. However, I do not like that they only accept card payments. This can be a problem when their system is not working, as they are unable to make any sales or serve customers. I have only encountered one or two team members who have been friendly and helpful. On two occasions, I was greeted by a girl who was not very welcoming and seemed disinterested in assisting or explaining things. The first time I visited, I was unaware that I needed to place my order through an app, and no one explained this to me. We had to ask for help twice. Overall, there is room for improvement."

"I recently visited a great restaurant near Urmston railway station and had an amazing experience. The place was spacious and perfect for families, with plenty of room for children. The music added to the classic atmosphere. The food was top-notch, with high-quality ingredients and delicious flavors. The menu had a variety of Mediterranean dishes, especially Turkish foods, which was a pleasant surprise. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the selection of veg dishes. The staff was friendly and efficient. I tried the veggie moussaka and tzatziki, both of which were fantastic. The desserts were also fresh and delicious. The owners even came to chat with us to ensure we were happy. The bar area was beautiful and had open doors for warmer evenings. The wine selection was impressive and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and the decor was eye-catching. I would highly recommend this restaurant for birthday parties or any special occasion. I definitely plan on returning in the future."

"If you ever want to be spoken down to or be on the receiving end of an attitude problem. Definitely go through the drive thru here. Whoever did the drive thru on Thursday 18th June at approx 630ish needs to be trained again. Asked for a Belgium cooler with cream, got told it was a frostino, I questioned it as we 've ordered these before, Miss Attitude bluntly replied it 's a frostino , decided not to get that option, asked for something else, was told they 've ran out, asked for a peach iced tea and was asked what size, I mistakenly asked for regular not remembering they only do 2 sizes but excuse me for not knowing, Miss attitude just kept repeating the 2 specific sizes they do with the sh1ttest attitude I 've ever heard. No explanation or advising me they only do specific sizes. At this point I asked her what her attitude was all about and she just kept talking over me saying yeah yeah is there anything else or something to that effect. I asked for a coffee frostino with an extra shot and made the grave error of asking for regular again so back came the sh1tty response giving only 2 sizes. Already decided at this point I 'd rather sh1t in a field than be spoken to that way, arrived at the window, shocked the poor guy with a triage of incoherent rambling about how vile her attitude was and cancelled the order. He was great, apologised and offered to get the drinks but couldn 't be bothered at this point. I beg for anyone from HO who reviews this to listen to the audio on that order."

"Make sure they have a skilled bartender on duty at the bar. I ordered a June Bug cocktail (buy one get one free for £16.00), which was quite expensive, I agree! One of the drinks tasted just like a June Bug should, but the other one tasted like lemon juice with no hints of banana or coconut. It was not enjoyable to drink. I informed the waitress, who spoke to someone and then informed me that the manager had made both drinks at the same time from the same mixer. I asked her to taste them herself, but she declined. She offered to replace the drinks, but I declined and asked for the charge to be removed from the bill instead. However, I was surprised to see that the revised bill removed the 2 for 1 deal (£16 refund) and simply charged me for one drink at £16! It was a disappointment that my complaints were not taken seriously at this establishment. On the bright side, the food was excellent."

"After a fair bit of confusion regarding our booking (virgin experience voucher) and some confusion with the parking (as situated within a hotel close by the airport) we were seated and given a glass of Prosecco each as way of an apology. We were then given menus of which we could order from within the voucher or order outside of if we pay extra. The inclusive menu is incredible enough not to choose outside, however if wanting more alcohol I would pay the extra. The crab and sweetcorn Bon bon starters were delicious, the pork main cut like silk (the crackling is inedible so please avoid) and the pistachio soufflé ....... WOW! Go."

The blackboard menu changes on a daily basis and always includes a fabulous selection of mouth watering dishes that will tingle your tastebuds. "My husband and loved (past tense) this place. We visit most times we are in Sale shopping. We always have the same pizza, Mexicana, as we absolutely love it. The pizzas and Italian cakes we find very authentic and the best pizza bases around. However, we haven’t been in for a while but yesterday my son and I went in for a quick bite to eat after visiting my husband in hospital. How disappointing. The pizza was as tasty as usual but very skimpy on the topping. I decided to get a slice of cake each for me and my son to take out and some cannoli (my husband’s favourite) to take to him as a nice treat. I was shocked when I got home and took out the cake and cannoli. The chocolate fudge cake must have been sliced with a razor blade. The two slices together would not have made one of their original slices, it was dry and stale and at £3.10 per slice daylight robbery. The cannoli was only a third the original size and even at 3 pieces for the price of 2 at £3.00 was a rip-off. I understand that businesses are finding it difficult and are having to make savings but they still need customers. We are all finding it difficult and yesterday was what is now, for us as pensioners, a rare treat and one I won’t be repeating, at almost £32, I’ll take my custom elsewhere, sorry."

"Downloaded the app. Nothing worked. Ordered at the bar, paid £2.25 extra for beef on my burrito bowl. When it came out, there was literally 5g of beef and sauce added to the smallest burrito bowl I have ever seen. The bowl itself was fine. But if I had paid just £10 for the bowl itself, as standard, I would have been furious. But then having paid £2.25 for an extra 5g of beef. After asking for an opinion from the staff (who were extremely helpful), it sounded like they either agreed and didn’t want to comment, or didn’t really know what a standard protein portion on a standard meal should be. Ground beef is cheap. Slow cooked ground beef is low maintenance, cheap easy to prepare. My concerns about the portion sizes were confirmed when I was brought out a 2nd portion of the beef… which appeared to be no more than 10g of beef (if you were being generous), and a lot of sauce. For context. At home, you could make 500g of the same thing for around £5.00… and as a business, buying at wholesale, bulk prices, you can make it a lot cheaper. So even if you were serving a standard portion of protein 20 30g for an adult you’d still make money, if you were buying wagyu ground beef from waitrose. If you are looking for decent food… give this one a miss. The service and drinks are all standard for a chain pub, its just the food that is a scam. Staff were 10/10 though, and brought me out a 2nd portion, with no drama. But even 2 portions of that beef wasn’t really enough protein for an adult. And there was far too much sauce to cover the fact that there was hardly any beef"

"We visited the restaurant this afternoon and was greeted by Andrew who is simply wonderful! He was very attentive and had a lovely manner. Food wise I would give a 4, other guests loved their meaty options and choices. It lacks vegan and vegetarian options for the main meals as many contain fish sauce. Need to add vegetarian chow mein without fish sauce and a few other dishes, that would really tick the boxes"

"Just been est est est. Was served by a rude waitress who was not happy that I didn’t look at the iPad for allergy advice. I tried to explain that I’d been before and know my dish is safe. But she said “that’s fine I’ll...have to put you was not willing to look” confused I asked for the manager. Who said she’d had a word and said it’s to agree to the disclaimer. I explained she never explained this to me. The lady continued to serve us even after I complained about her rudeness. Which made me highly uncomfortable. Then the meals arrived mine was loot warm and watery. And as I got further in pulled what I thought was a leaf out of my mouth. It was onion skin. When I complained about the experience from start to finish. Explaining I was a waitress myself. I was met with but onions are in the dish, surely hairs are worse. She removed mine but still wanted us pay for the remains of the bill. Which after how poor the experience was we simply was not happy to do. My place of work would take it off. The manager is highly argumentative and unapologetic. She just gave me excuse after excuse, “but we cook with onions.” “But we offered to make you something else.” I explained that I wasn’t trying to be awkward with working in the industry myself but it had put me off my meal and I didn’t want to eat here. We argued back and forth, she said but it was only my dish. My friend explained she didn’t finish hers as it put her off as it was the same dish! Reluctantly she took both meals off but we had to pay for two cokes “because we had them” but we drank them before even realising the onion skin was in my food. The service was slow after we complained we was left for ages when all we wanted to do was leave the awful experience behind us. I explained the last time I came I loved it. And had an amazing experience and had been telling everyone to go. But this time has meant I’ll never be coming again! AVOID."
