"Fuimos a comer un domingo y la experiencia resultó ESPECTACULAR!!! Al llegar nos enseñaron la bodega de vinos del restaurante y es increíble! Para terminar la visita nos invitaron a una copa de uno de los mejores cavas de España. Luego entramos en el restaurante y nos dieron un pequeño tour por las cocinas en las que nos prepararon unos pequeños bocados EXCEPCIONALES!! Seguidamente nos sentamos en la mesa y empieza el menú degustación. Todos los platos tenían un hilo conductor que era la conservación de alimentos, y cada elaboración era EXQUISITA. No hicimos el maridaje pero tomamos una botella de Pago de Carraovejas impresionante. La vajilla, la cubertería, la cristalería ESPECTACULARES. El servicio impecable, muy amables, súper profesionales y atentos. El café nos lo sirvieron en la zona de bar con unas vistas al castillo de Peñafiel PRECIOSAS! El precio, por toda la experiencia desde el Minuto cero hasta que sales por la puerta, es muy correcto. Sin ninguna duda volveremos cada vez que podamos a disfrutar de este excepcional restaurante."

"What a wonderful place! The owner welcomed us, brought us our drinks, all the while engaging us in good conversation. After ordering the roasted lamb (for 3 of us) and a salad, the chef came out and suggested the sardines with tomato to start. I wasn't sure about that, but they were amazing dense, rich, and flavorful. Not like american sardines at all! And the roast was fabulous, great jus, falling off the bone, amazing flavor. The owner even showed us the wood oven which was really neat. Overall a very memorable lunch, great people, and amazing food. Gracias!!"

"Llegamos tras realizar una visita a las Bodegas Protos. El propietario y la camarera nos recibieron con simpatía. La comida perfecta. Chorizo, morcilla y lechazo. El vino muy bueno y bien de precio. Un gusto comer es este restaurante. Finalmente nos enseñó su bodega que es pequeña, pero preciosa. Para volver sin dudarlo."

"We ate the letter (there are no menus) clay and bleak and two very rich desserts. the spectacular clay, the bleach without being bad, thinner and much more bone, than in other places where I have eaten (the closest thing, in orange.) in peñafiel, seems to be normal, that until you sit on the table (and ask questions and ask for a letter,) do not know about the food. That doesn't convince me, without being much less expensive too. until I don't pay, I didn't know what was coming from me, they charged me about 80 euros, as if they say 120 (for the shame of asking at the start prices or requesting a letter or something.) we ate that. a serving of clay, a yarn for two, two home desserts, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water and two pots. At the bottom is the bar and we also took something previously and each consumption included a rich lid. the attention, phenomenal, the staff was quick and friendly, so good and bad things. the site is bad? Of course not. would you come back? Maybe I would value other options."

"In the village there are not many places where you can eat on terraces, they are all roasters. but this hotel if we were allowed to eat on the terrace.They had a quite complete menu of the day, with an appetizer (patatas revolconas con torrezno,) incoming (salmorjo and salad of escabeche with beautiful,) main dish to choose (lubina with vegetables, carrilleras or eggs broken to the vallisoletana) and a dessert to choose (tatatatata of cheese, variety of fruits or wine of chocolate,). He was good but he had too much oil and the eggplant knew a lot about smoke. The rest of the letter had very affordable prices, which surprised us when it came to a hotel.However, the service was not spectacular.They were very undressed. We asked for drinks before eating, which were accompanied by potatoes (we saw it in other customers.) they are supposed to give you a “tapa” of fries. we ordered 6 drinks and we had to order the potatoes... and they brought us only a potato cap when we order 6 drinks! are details that should be taken care of"
