Anova Restaurant - Speisekarte

We booked the breakfast daily as a preliminary to skiing. Not disappointed at all. Food was of great quality and plentiful.

If you are hungry dont visit this restaurant. We were left very unsatisfied. There are much better options for dinner in montegenvre

modern , contemporary decor with friendly service. Good selection for kids. Booking advisable. We tended to arrive early to enjoy a drink in the bar in front of the fire. As with elsewhere in this resort, people are very friendly and kids are welcome and treated well. Speisekarte ansehen

Good food after a day's ski-ing. Good portion sizes and a nice mix of traditional alpine food and fancier choices. True puddings were spectacular - particularly the tiramisu snow ball. Good friendly service and an excellent bar next door - we really enjoyed our evening.

We stayed in the Anova Hotel and ate mainly in the restaurant alternating between lunch and dinner during our week long stay. Both lunch and dinner menus had plenty of choices ranging from simple courses to high quality 'posh nosh'. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent, well informed and friendly.

We ate at the ANOVA restaurant as we were staying here but weren’t on half board and wanted to try it one night. We had a fondue and a mushroom risotto followed by the ‘snowball’ style tiramisu and passion fruit desert. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. Loved this place. The decor is fab (check out the mural Trump being captured by an eagle in the billiard room), and the service is friendly and efficient. There is a wide choice on the menu including for kids (the chicken nuggets were proper chicken in panko) and the food was always good. Thank goodness we discovered this place as it made a big difference to our holiday. We went back everyday! Good wine choice as well. If we come back to the resort we will stay in this hotel.

Had a nice lunch so booked to return for evening meal. All 5 had different dishes and were a little disappointed. The food was pleasant but not worth the amount charged. Steak ordered rare was well done but returned and replaced with no problems. The fish dish was served with mushrooms asparagus and some rather grey artichokes. No potatoes or starch. Veg generally lacking (I like veg to eat not just as decoration ). Duck was nicely cooked and risotto and tartiflette tasty but uninspiring. Generally felt a bit disappointed and overpriced.

We were there for New Year’s Eve dinner. We booked 5 days before and asked for the menu since one of us is allergic to some seafood. On the phone they said that there was absolutely no problem, and that we should remind it to the waiter on the night of the dinner. Obviously the waiter didn’t know and the chef wasn’t informed. Part of the menu, that was fixed, no chance to choose, obviously included the seafood of the allergy. The dinner was pointless, dishes were cold, poor in taste, and, some cases, disgusting. At some point they served the same dish for both of us, but I cannot eat it because of the allergy, so they served to me just two slices of foi gras…But the most embarrassing moment...
