"We used to come here many years ago, then I understood it changed the management and finally the old owner took it back few months ago. It is not the same as I remembered, no more buffet of starters and a more romantic atmosphere and I must say I liked it even more than then. The garden is still beautiful and everything’s quieter, with very nice and efficient service. The menu is limited, but this is often an advantage, I always mistrust menus with too many things.... We took two starters, giardiniera (pickled Piedmontese vegetables) with a good tomato sauce and a really excellent octopus with a potato purée and crumbled olives; and two mains, a good duck breast with carrot purée and a super veal en croute with Parmesan sauce. For dessert we tried the peach with chocolate and the panna cotta with crumble and hazelnuts, both good. We gave our compliments to the young cook who came by the tables to ask if everything was ok. We spent 80€ with the house wine. We will surely go back. Ottimo ristorante con atmosfera romantica e splendido giardino interno. Non c’è più il buffet di antipasti di una volta ma il menù è molto interessante e raffinato, anche se limitato nel numero di piatti (ma l’importante è la qualità che è decisamente buona). Assolutamente eccellenti il polpo con purée di patate e olive taggiasche e la “torinese”, vitello in crosta di grissini con favolosa salsa al parmigiano. Buoni anche i dessert. Il proprietario è quello di una volta, cuoco e camerieri sono giovani e in gamba. Il prezzo è abbordabile, 40€ a testa con il vino. Ci torneremo sicuramente."

Other small restaurant niche! If you go with friends is the perfect place. Unique atmosphere, antipasti buffet of excellent quality and quantity .... As many of you, I have expressed a fear on the consumption of raw meat ... taste it (the guarantees of quality and freshness are absolute!
