My meal arrived within 30 minutes after ordering and making payment, made charity donations and gave books and music to help with funding for their defribillator. Excellent soup, bread and tea

Ignore that last comment. We were there last weekend and the food was lovely. So lovely that we are going with friends today too. Lovely Pub, great service from the Staff and the food is spot on.

Do not waste your money here, go to McDonald's instead. The food is terrible and the restaurant smells like a musty old clothes shop. I am sorry, but the portion sizes were extremely small and the only decent thing to eat was the Yorkshire pudding.

Myself and partner met my parents for an evening meal while they were in the area. The food was amazing, I ordered a burger and it was HUGE! Great value for money. Thanks again to all the lovely people working at the Askwith! We really enjoyed our evening x H

Haven’t been for a while, but on a cold rainy day we remembered the roaring fires that they have in the snug so decided to go. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely meal, enjoyed a few drinks in a friendly atmosphere and had a really lovely afternoon out. Friendly staff, good food, dogs welcome, lovely scenery. Speisekarte ansehen

Our first visit to Askwith Arms was delightful. The steak and scampi we ordered were both delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, and the homemade chips were also great. The server was friendly and the pub had a cozy atmosphere. We were accommodated with our two dogs in a suitable spot. Thank you for a lovely meal, we will be back soon.

I ordered the pork Sunday lunch and asked the waitress for some stuffing, but she informed me that they no longer serve it. When our meals arrived, they were lukewarm. My wife had ordered the beef, which she enjoyed, but mentioned that the roast potatoes were soggy. Unfortunately, my pork was dry and accompanied by soggy roast potatoes. For £15 each, I expected much better quality.

Upon parking up immediately you’re greeted by little lambs and beautiful scenery. Myself and my partner met the in laws here for food/drinks. The staff members all treat you as if your a family friend, bringing dog treats out for the two pups we had with us. The food portions were HUGE! Unfortunately as a bodybuilder I couldn’t eat but what my partner ordered (the burger) was enough to make me question my life choice! The chef/landlady came over and chatted away to us which was lovely. This place is a real hidden gem, the only issue is it’s too well hidden and doesn’t get the custom it deserves!
