Great little restaurant slightly away from the main restaurants. Great selection of French food presented and served well. 2 courses €30 euros

Great food, good vines and really friendly and helpful waiter that guided us even though we didn't always understood each other. I even learned some French words!

Great food, close to "fine dining". Reasonable prices considering quality. No menu in English and the waiters only have a little, so you really need to understand and be able to translate the basics. Speisekarte ansehen

Went here on a business trip and the food is outstanding. Cooked almost in front of your eyes and very, very tasty. The fish is 'to die for' and prepared superbly so that it melts in your mouth.Not cheap but for the quality it is great value.Good service too!

Myself and two friends took the recommendation from Trip Advisor to try this place for dinner. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the affordability for what we got. We did the 30€ three course meal and found it exceptional. Being from Australia where high quality restaurants cost a lot of money, we couldn't believe the high quality for the price. Recommend for anyone looking for an excellent meal at a relaxed and friendly restaurant.

Having read the reviews on Trip Advisoor we were hoping to enjoy a very good meal. However the food and service were much better than expected. The esgargot entre was superbly cooked, tender and the perfect balance of flavor and texture.The steak and pork again perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fabulous presentation and generous potions. A wide selection of cheeses carefully balanced and a truely delicious tarte of mango and passionfruit cream.Our lone waiter was attentive and polite despite having at least 26 customers to attend.Thank you Au Martin Bleu for a memorable meal and a warm, generous welcome to two Australians with very limited French. The 31 euro menu was good value for money, my smoked salmon starter served with beetroot hummus was excellent and there was loads of it. The Foie starter was also outstanding. We both had Steak with Bleu D'auvergne served with Dauphinoise potatoes for main course, perfectly cooked and tender, not like your average French Entrecote experience. Refreshing Nougat Parfait with raspberry coulis was a great way to end the meal. The service was very good, very little English spoken but we got by. The only negative was that the wine we were recommended was very expensive, 37 euro and it really didn't blow our minds. Overall highly recommended and much less touristy than the places in Place Plummerau...

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend.We didn't book but got a table outside.We arrived and ordered at around 8.25pmI think we got our starters about 15 minutes later - delicious - no complaints there. Our kids food arrived just after and again no problem.However I had to go into the restaurant over an hour later to enquire as to where our main course was. I got mine first and then my wife's arrived - 1 hour 20 minutes after we first ordered !!!! Boiling hot outside, 2 young kids who've eaten and are sitting there like lemmings and we sat for ages waiting.To top it off my main course was Guinea fowl and was over cooked. Arrived at 7pm we did book as read previous reviews seems a must or you'll miss out. Thank god we did not one spare seat in the place after 8:30pm. Menu is written in French , being Australian my French not too fluent so we slowly worked our way through deciphering best we could. We went for 31€ menu. Waiter was a fantastic help did his best to get our order in with minimal English but we could understand basics. All courses ordered were truly the best choices.
