Recommended to us. Good food, lovely atmosphere but small space. The service was ok not the fastest had to go to register to pay. Never checked on after food delivered. Speisekarte ansehen

Starved at end of a long day of touring, the brilliant flowers outside the cafe and quiet side street drew us here. Sat outside. Waiter was helpful and highly entertaining (even sang to us) and food was good overall. Service was great until they got full (which they did by 7:30pm then service was very slow. Recommend but not at busy time.

We had a lovely relaxed meal here on a Sunday . It is very near Notre Dame but is unlike most of the other places to eat that we found in the area which all seemed to sell food that bears little resemblance to French cuisine.Its not cheap (although Paris in general is not cheap) and service is slow but for a Sunday lunch when the sun is out what is better than to sit outside and enjoy the food and wine.

I have passed by this beautiful restaurant and even stayed in an apartment next door for Christmas a few years back. I finally popped in for dinner this trip! It was beautiful inside with only 2 other tables filled. Very intimate setting. Everyone was friendly including the owners, George and Odette. The food was only OK but the ambiance was A+. An amazing young American musician named Delany, played the piano and sang between courses. She was vacationing with her parents from Cincinnati, Ohio. Wow...what an evening. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped by in the morning for an espresso after visiting Notre Dame. This place is not on the main street. Its tucked into a side street. We met Freddy, the manager. It was sprinkling ,so the tables outside were empty. We stepped inside and he showed us to a cozy table. Freddy chatted with us while we had our espresso and he invited us back for dinner that night. So of course we came back. I was able to go downstairs into the small wine cellar and pick out our own bottle of wine, which turned into three.If you are spending the day near Notre Dame, you must book end your day with Freddy. I was seriously charmed by the beautiful restaurant and I had read lots of good reviews about this place on Trip Advisor. I wasn't exactly looking for the place as one as really charmed by the Christmas decorations outside and to my surprise, it was the restaurant I had long wanted to try and I was so happy to chance upon it! The couple was really lovely as I assumed they were the owner and his wife. They were really friend and it felt like a nice cosy family place to have your meals in. After a wonderful afternoon walking around St Michel, My guest and I bumped into this charming venue. We were overwhelmed by the ambience and the extremely friendly staff. The manager was a vibrant, happy and knowledgeable man who came and visited us and asked where we had come from. So we felt that our last place for the day was a total win!Then, as we got close to midnight with only us and another couple sitting outside, for NO REASON WHATSOEVER, The SAME MANAGER walked over and told us that he is closing and we should leave.
