Au Vieux St. Martin

Il faudra retenir de ce lieu des mets de très bonne facture et un accueil chaleureux. Un rapport qualité/prix un peu élevé tout de même. Mais si vous passez dans la région, c'est un lieu à découvrir. Probablement plus sympa en terrasse en été.

Malgré un accès un peu compliqué - surveillez bien les panneaux et modérez votre allure, faute de quoi vous allez louper le coche -, c'est un très joli endroit où l'on déguste une cuisine de qualité avec des petits légumes du jardin et le sourire philosophique de la patronne.Un régal. Une pause à réitérer.

Dans un cadre charmant et champêtre sous les arbres le service est rapide et très chaleureux. Repas du terroir comme on l'aime. Seul petit bémol en été si l’on mange dehors, la proximité de la route située à une cinquantaine de mètres mais vite oubliée de part la qualité du service et des mets servis. Toevallig op terugweg naar ons vakantiehuis zijn we langs deze Auberge gepasseerd.Het ligt goed verborgen dus je moet goed kijken.Je komt gewoon bij de mensen thuis, en dat gevoel krijg je ook.Wij proberen dit altijd op te zoeken, gezien dit veel aangenamer is dan inal die toeristische restaurants.Leuk zitten in de tuin, en vooral heel lekkere gerechten.Alsook de uitbaters zijn enorm vriendelijk, de gastheer spreekt verschillende talen.Wat ook weer leuk is.Kortom, zeer geslaagd, wij komen zeker terug !

We booked this restaurant for a family celebration (21 of us) and it did not disappoint. The owners had set up two large tables outside in the shade of the trees. It felt comfortable and private. The food was delicious, I can't rate it highly enough. Local produce, Gers specialties, lovingly prepared and well presented. I didn't drink any of the wine but am told it was lovely!Our little 5 month old baby was too hot, and without us asking, we were kindly led to a bathroom and offered a flannel to freshen him up, and a tablecloth to put on the ground for him to lie in the shade and look at the trees. We had a wonderful meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a tiny restaurant tucked in just off a busy highway. Only a small sign indicates what treasures are in store if you stop in. With a capacity of 14 diners, and a menu that rivals any restaurant nearby, it is well worth the hunt. The host, Piet, is a very friendly gentleman whose charming wife is as gracious as she is talented in the kitchen. The foie gras is excellent. I enjoyed a filet pur which Piet told me had grazed just across the road, in fact we could hear the mooing of some of its cousins. Dining is al fresca, unhurried and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the experience. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed a brief visit while dining. The night...

It's my fourth summer coming to the Province of Gers, a lovely region in South of France, and during each trip we drop by our favorite restaurant. About 4km from the Mirande Square, this little gem is located on road N21. The small sign might be easy to miss for first-time visitors, so slow down when approaching the address. The menu consists of delectable, regional specialties freshly made with wholesome ingredients. All is home-made. The foei gras is a fragrant, silky delight. The magret de canard (duck breast) is tender and juicy. The vanilla bean crème brûlée is rich and smooth, with the thin crispy top flambeed to perfection.
