"Terrible experience ruined by the poor professionalism of the owner, food really good but rude and unprofessional staff, even more sad that comes from the management. We had a table of 12, we all ordered the fixed price menu (50€ a part from 1 of us and ordered a whole sea bream. When he received his fish i suddenly realised that it wasn 't been clean before cooking, all the interiors where left inside, when we ask how come, the waitres answer back in a very rude and unprofessional way, here we do this way, than that 's not how you clean a fish point at the fish that my friend that doesn 't work in a restaurant Open it. In no case a waiter should disrespect a costumer or make it look like stupid because he doesn 't know how to open a fish. Not everyone works in hospitality, and would be better she 'd stop because she miss the meaning of the word hospitality. She took the fish back obviously without asking if we would like to have something else instead. At the end they charged for the untouched fish... Very sad for all happened, all could have be sorted if she would have been a bit humble and try to listen her costumer. Beside that food was great, but we will remember this restaurant for cocky and unprofessional behaviour of the owner."

"Essen war ok, aber es ist nicht gut. €14 für Fisch und dann ist nur ein Stück Paprika enthalten. Pommes und Wasser dazu und Sie geben bereits fast 25€ pro Person Aber das Personal war sehr nett und sprach sogar etwas Deutsch. Kleine Spitze: genießen Sie Eis und Kaffee nach dem Essen auf der anderen Seite der Straße in der Sonne. Dies ist auch viel billiger. Mahlzeit: Mittagessen Preis pro Person: €20–30"

"Family run trattoria that is popular with tourists and local people. We would have eaten here every night during a recent stay in Tortoli but unfortunately the trattoria was not open on Sunday. Had a couple of fantastic meals including the local speciality;-culurgionis a potato and cheese dish) and fresh seafood had a seafood platter and also seafood pasta dishes). Accompanied with local wine these meals were incredible value. Trattoria is situated away from the main street in Tortoli but only a short walk away. Definitely worth a visit."

"We ended up here after a long search for a decent (and not reserved) restaurant in Tortoli. We ordered a full menu, two primi piati and two contorni, as well as wine. The waiter did not write down one of the primi contorni. As a result, one of us did not get ANYTHING to eat. By the time we complained and started sharing the food that did arrive, we had to eat cold meals. Over the two hours we had to linger in the restaurants, the waiters were slowly dragging their feet, cleaning the tables one plate at a time but -most often- scrolling down their phones and chatting among themselves. We asked for our bill thrice and ended up paying at the till. The waiter who (mis)took our order (who also seemed to be in charge) apologised for the mistake reluctantly, after we persisted, and claimed that the mistake was due to the order being confusing (although she did not seem to find it that confusing when she wrote it down). Moreover, the antipasto (a sort of meat in crust) was soggy and tasteless and the grilled meats (ordered as part of the menu) were FULL of fat and overcooked. Tortolí is a small place but there are better places to enjoy a decent dinner. In short, as I state in the title, AVOID this restaurant if you want your peace of mind (and a full stomach)."
