Unbeatable experience in here. The cafe is wonderful and a great place for some light clothes shopping.

Lovely Sunday Lunch this weekend at 1882 Bistro. Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly attentive staff on hand.

Very good food and some amazing cakes, staff happy to see us, lots of seating but filled up fast, well worth a visit but not cheap or expensive

always a beautiful place to visit we often go. eat delicious personal friendly a d helpful. good selection of food all made home and excellent value. al farewells well occupied and again helpful and obligated

Staff weren’t very friendly, when we asked for a panini they said that there weren’t any left however the couple after us also asked for a panini and got their panini. The toastie was also burnt. Won’t be coming back.

We were in the department upstairs looking around and fancied something to eat and drink so called in ,first visit so not sure if meant to be upstairs or down but upstairs we were and ordered hot drinks and snacks all nice bit expensive and not much food but service was good and was quiet and not busy do plenty of seats to pick.toilets clean and place clean,decent menu upstairs more staff than customers .

Initial member of staff in upper floor informed us 4 that they did not do coffee or tea upstairs but down. No tables for 4 down stairs. However Sarah, another member of staff stepped in and said we could be accomodated re: we'd get coffee and tea upstairs. She met our needs with a smile... negating our initial impression of being unwanted. If it was not for Sarah.... This review would be totally negative.

Went there at about 14:10 p.m today. Ordered two main meals and drinks and you could have reasonably expected to have the drinks served before the food. Sadly neither occurred and we found out over 45 minutes later that our order had not been passed to the kitchen At least three waiting staff walked by our table and it must have been obvious that our meals had been served Perhaps they could have spent more time actually checking and serving customers rather than engaging in conversation with other customers. Eventually a member if staff came over and tried to blame kitchen staff rather than take reponsibility as they were after all, the waking staff. We were offered fish and chips free of ch...

what a joy to visit, we have let ourselves in for a morning look and that is exactly what we have! from the cheerful greeting when we entered, this was a really living, clean, happy environment. the menu had a good selection of breakfast/morning fayre, along with the delicious cakes and tasty items on the display when they were on the door to foot. we had speck and egg in white and tee. together with a very smooth cappuccino with soy and zimt sprinkled. they had an immediate recognition when I said not-dairy so offered zimt on the cappuccino, along with oat or soya alternative milk. we were so impressed that we came back before we went to the house but went to the first floor where they serv...
