Visited frequently for over 8 years, fantastic food and service however diversity of the menu has decreased over time, and sadly the specials board is no longer present We used to look forward to new dishes each visit but sadly feel it’s repetitive nowadays

For the second year we had our Petanque awards ceremony here. To serve dinner for 50 people simultaneously is tricky, but to serve such great food, and so quickly is a amazing skill. Ate here for the second time recently, after commenting on the lack of vegetarian options a couple of years ago. I’m pleased to say that the vegetarian options were absolutely delicious this time, particularly the lentils beans in pastry with a rich tomato sauce. Our meat eating family members also loved the options on offer. The restaurant is in a beautiful location of the river and was beautifully lit with candles and fairy lights too. Vegetarian options: Risotto and a pastry parcel with lentils and beans both delicious

We held a surprise birthday party here for a party of 15. From the first enquiry Rosy and the team were brilliant, we organized pre-orders and all the admin with no hassle. The food was superb, highlights for me were the chorizo starter and belly pork WOULD RECOMMEND! . The team were fab on the night, nothing was too much trouble, and service was attentive and extremely prompt. Beautiful setting, terrific food and exceptional service. A massive thank you to Rosy and the genuinely lovely team and a big recommendation from us.
