A fantastic night at Bel The Dragon in Windsor who could not do enough to make sure we had a great dinner when hosting our group of 33. Lovely food and great service

Went for a family meal to end our mini break to Windsor to celebrate my Mum's 65th birthday. Attentive, friendly staff tasty food, good selection of non alcoholic beverages for those dry periods. Would recommend

It all went downhill from food to service, not even point to give details. The blonde waitress was annoyed when I asked for cutlery and then realising she made a huge mistake says that it was a mad afternoon, weird as it wasn’t even busy. Speisekarte ansehen

My wife and I have just had a wonderful Friday lunch at the Bel Dragon, Windsor. Really interesting “mini plates” menu, suiting us both, and excellent service including chats with the chef. Our first visit in two years post COVID lock downs and not disappointed. Loads of good menu choices excellently presented, and both server and chef were very attentive. We’ll be back soon!

The staff at The Bel Dragon are most accommodating. My partner and I needed a spot to rest along our Thames Walk trek and, looking a little ragged, feeling a little frazzled, Klaudia greeted us and promptly set a table. Shelly created an off-menu revitalising iced coffee for Meg and the food went down a treat. The service here and the atmosphere cannot be faulted. Most thankful for you

Glad to see this fabulous restaurant/ bar back open. We know staff shortages have been a challenge. It was great to drop in last night a glass of Rose and meet the staff. They have a new menu which we did not have time to sample but offers a different style of dining with many new sharing plates. Originally we booked this restaurant for a Team of 20 for a Christmas lunch, however given the situation of Omicron at the time, we deferred it to February. The restaurant couldn't have been more accommodating and moved the booking for us without question. Nearer the time we had various people dropping out due to work commitments or catching covid, so had to keep making changes. The staff were very understanding and very happy to help. Finally got to have our lunch last Friday and it did not disappoint. The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn't of been more friendly or helpful. I booked this restaurant for my husbands 60th for 16 of our friends . Booked in January and paid a deposit , pre ordered all our menu , then received an email that morning saying our booking had been cancelled ! No real explanation other than they didn’t have enough staff .. not good enough , surely they knew that before that morning , was offered a 25 discount off the next meal , which was an insult to be honest and no other compensation , had to let 16 guests down , and not enough time to re book for that many guests in a few hours , a ruined surprise birthday , so disappointed , I understand things happen , but a 25 discount for the next meal is no compensation for a ruined 60th birthday...

I’m pleased that this branch of Bel and the Dragon has re-opened after a short break. It’s always a worry in these plague-ridden times of Covid-19 and Boris Johnson as to whether the shutters will ever come up again. We revisited on a Sunday and immediately felt at home in the cosy slightly clubby atmosphere of a suite of small rooms with cartoons by the same artist on most walls. Upstairs are a few rooms forming part of a hotel. As it was Sunday the slightly pared-down menu centred on roasts including the whole chicken with potatoes cooked in goose-fat, sausages, carrots and a quarter of Yorkshire puddings.
