"Fantastic venue with peerless food, excellent customer service and a stunning location next to a picturesque river and a 13th Century castle. Some of my family and I stopped there for the weekend, and were thrilled with The Bell. Will definitely be back there again. Rooms: Very well appointed, great views, luxurious Nearby activities: The nearby historic castle and church were fascinating especially the story regarding the font in the church! Food drinks: Great selection of champagne, the beers were some of my favourites Wye Valley HPA and Butty Bach. The food was superb, and it was a real wrench not to able to try some items on the both the starter and main menus I had the 3 cheese soufflé starter and steak one night, the crab starter and turbot the following night (with Eton Mess for dessert). Glad I called as well as booking online, because the website allowed me to book two twin rooms when only one was actually available, but happily when I called to book dinner and checked on the room booking Maria was able to reorganise rooms.
