Benny T's - Speisekarte

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent and definitely worth a visit. The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky, and there wasn't a spot of fat on the plate. The haggis was piping hot and full of flavor.

Lovely fish and chips in a really rather spotless place! My only tiny wish is ‘marrow fat peas’ would be replaced with “garden peas”.That is simply down to preference.I did ask and was advised only beans coleslaw or marrowfat.Fair enough. Really well cooked,well presented fish and chips and wedge of lemon.

This was our first visit but won’t be the last. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, fish supper mushy peas. The pizza was excellent, perfectly cooked thin crust, toppings were nicely chopped not hulking great big lumps. Really delicious. Very accommodating staff. We booked a table and ended up arriving half an hour early and staff were brilliant. Service was great and food tasted lovely. We were celebrating a birthday and staff brought cake out for our daughter and offered us plates to eat it there and then which most places would frown upon since we brought it in ourself.

My wife and I dropped in for dinner after an afternoon shopping unaware of the restaurant now added to the takeaway that had been there years before. The busy car park was a promising sign, and I am pleased to say we enjoyed our experience and will likely return. We ordered two breaded fish sips. One haddock, one cod. Both were well cooked and really delicious. Service was a delight. The relatively young team of servers have been trained well and have an evident commitment to customer service. This unpretentious restaurant was an unexpected delight.

We regularly have carry out from this amazing local outlet. We also visit the restaurant for special occasions. In our opinion, the special fish supper , two pieces of battered and crumbed haddock served with plenty of good chips, slice of lemon and home made tartare sauce is the best . It 's also enough to feed two normal appetites. But it doesn 't end there they also make very acceptable pizzas and almost anything fried you can imagine. They also offer gluten free, and grilled fish as options. They have a special lunch menu for me the highlight is home made minestrone soup. Speisekarte ansehen

Ventured here for 2 haggis suppers in the takeaway section. Very disappointed at the extended wait in the queue whilst other customers arriving after me were served and departed the venue. Found when I actually received my order that the chips were quite soggy and the haggis looked like a big lump in greasy batter. Not at all appealing and a bit pricey for what you were served up. Sad to say will not be returning in a hurry and was surprised at the quality as had heard this was a great place to eat. Appreciate everyone's opinion is different but this was genuinely my experience on this occasion.

We recently visited Benny T's for the first time and it definitely won't be our last! The portion sizes were just right, and my husband, who has a gluten allergy, was accommodated with the best fish and chips he's ever had. He also enjoyed his favorite dessert, a banana split. The kids' meals were excellent as well - my daughter even finished her entire burger (which is a rare occurrence for her) and was disappointed that she didn't have room for dessert. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant and we're looking forward to returning. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly, and it's clear they have received excellent training in customer service.

This is a long way from my house! And we stay over in the area every year so I can visit the magnificent Kelpies sculptures which are just a few miles from the best gluten free fish and chips I have ever eaten. The staff are just lovely, and knowledgeable, and so friendly. Mark the owner takes great pride in producing not just tasty food for us special people who have coeliac disease and eat gluten free, but he is meticulous about the importance of not one bit of cross contamination. The menu is big so if you don’t like fish there’s plenty to choose from. The portions are huge and everything is cooked to order.
