bernardo etxea is a typical Basque restaurant with good meats, fish and seafood. expensive but with good quality.

Apparently they are either very stupid or they are thieves. No matter how hard the chulton is served, they charge us a kilo. it smells like a was. avoid it!

the raw material is excellent. We order bernardo salad and clams, to follow with tksangurro and rap. All very good. the delicious torrija. However, it took minutes to serve the first ones, hence I remove a star.

Restaurante de cocina tradicional con producto de calidad. Uno de los mejores restaurantes donde comer pescado fresco en Donosti. Incluso se veía llegar a los pescadores a la hora de la cena. Los postres, también buenísimos.

we visited here on Monday for my husbands birthday. nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. starter foie and octopus) and mains (sole and monkfish) were both excellent. they brought us a cheesecake with a candle! the chef came out to talk to us. would definitely recommend for a special evening. Exelente restaurante, desde la llegada la atención de su personal amable y con mucha disposición de ayudar , la comida extraordinaria , buena carta de vino , el pescado y mariscos fresquisimo el carpaccio de carabinero increíble, mesa bien montada con mantel y servilletas impecables , precio muy correcto igual que las pociones .Muy muy recomendable.
