"Korean cuisine is new for me. It's been so trendy lately with the Kimchi burgers, Korean barbecues and Bulgogi mentioned everywhere, it was time to try it. I was expecting it to be good, and worth the wait. And it was. Apart from the Kimchi itself, which didn't particularly float my boat it is after all, cold fermented vegetables... Soho is inundated with restaurants from every cuisine imaginable, so it took some review-reading to settle on Bibigo . Quite a modern, sleek dining room, with wooden tables, bricked walls, and an open kitchen. Staff were lovely, although the door at the entrance is a bit of a push, and the hostess just watched as I struggled. Never mind... It sounded like...read more"

After a long day trip to Warwick, I was too tired to cook dinner and wanted something super spicy and protein packed.

Been here twice and satisfied both times!! Beef dish is the best, literally melts in the mouth. Their dessert dishes are a great balance, the pancakes are especially my favourite. I would recommend either going for lunch, getting there right when they open or booking in advance fills up really quickly! Speisekarte ansehen

If you are a very big group and you are looking to eat, unremarkable Korean food, in an inconspicuous room, while drinking pretty good cocktails and you can't drag your bum to Fitzrovia then by all means go. You won't get food poisoned. You will feel nothing. Under any other circumstances, really don't bother.

not especially sure that this is the place to introduce someone Korean eating, because it is a joint that apparently leads to the western gloom. that said there are dishes that are big enough to fill them to the edge without burning a hole in their pocket. when we visited japchae, was the only decent court I liked and I wish they served it in larger portions. the monk came a bit blanding and overcooked; meeress pfannkuchen was too thick for my lust; and the fried chicken was a little too oily. service was pretty slow, we had to wait 15 minutes per dish.

Authentic Korean cuisine in a stylish venue. I had the ridiculously affordable dinner 3-course set menu for £13. My Korean chopped salad was a refreshing and light start to the meal. Following up this was the sticky and delicious red chicken, which was the exact level of spice I love (teetering on the edge of too spicy). Finally my main tofu bibimbap it was a little small for most people's likings, but perfect for me. Whereas the ingredients were fresh, there were just too many vegetables and not enough tofu/rice. I will definitely be back to sample more off the menu. Speisekarte ansehen

...we were met with elegant decor, helpful, well mannered staff and an intriguing South Korean menu put together by Kim Yong Hwan, who previously worked at Roka and Zuma, and Bibigo founder Hee Young Noh, who also happens to be the star of Masterchef Korea. 12 got us a starter and main from the full menu. We decided to share, washing everything down with a refreshing glass of lychee juice 2.50 each). Red Chicken was sticky and hot, infused with its sweet and spicy sauce and sprinkled with crispy, deep fried okra. The other starter a traditional, crisp seafood pancake with leeks, squid, mussels and shrimp was best enjoyed first due to its...read more

I went to Bibigo earlier this week for a friends farewell dinner – a close friend is heading back to Oz for a year, boo! We wanted to find somewhere new for us all that wasn’t going to break the bank. Someone mentioned Korean food and that’s how we ended up at Bibigo Bibigo is the perfect location for a pitstop mid-shop – located on Great Marlborough St it runs parallel to Oxford Street, and is just at the top of Carnaby Street. And for such a great location it was so refreshing to 1) be able to book a table 2) not be crammed into such a small space you end up elbowing your neighbour throughout the meal. Oh and it is such good value and the food is good They offer a set menu...read more
