L'accueil et le service est agréable, le poste de cuisine est mis à l'avant du resto dans la salle des clients sans que cela gêne (pas de nuisance sonore ou odeur).

My partner and I went to have dinner last night in this delightful Bistro! Not only was the food amazing but the ambiance is great and the owner is simply amazing! You will not regret coming here!

Repas de midi dans une petite cour intérieure très sympa. Les plats sont originaux, copieux et bien préparés avec des produits frais. Bons desserts et bon choix de vin au verre.Bref on y retournera

Explosion de saveurs dans des plats originaux et savoureux avec en prime un accueil aux petits soins. Un incontournable à Marseille.PS: n'arrêtez jamais la mousse au chocolat au zeste de citron vert ;-)

My husband had a prawn dish, I had black truffle ravioli. For such an unassuming looking restaurant, the food was absolutely superb. Ice not been able to eat pasta since, because this blows everything away. Best meal ever.

Great evening with family. Really enjoyed this restaurant : great food with special taste : I enjoyed particularly the Cod fillet, orange and carrot reduction. But from starter to dessert it was excellent. great place : very quiet patio only few minutes from vieux port great service : very nice waitress and chef Last but not least : very good value for the money !

Versteckt gelegen nahe Hafen und Place Thiars - und unbedingt wert, gefunden zu werden. Der Chef und Inhaber hat sich unglaublich viel Zeit genommen, uns die Karte zu erklären und dann in der Küche kreative Gerichte gezaubert (Achtung: Für Nicht-Franzosen könnte es etwas sehr roh sein ;-)). Das Ambiente (wir saßen im Hof) ist gemütlich, der Service freundlich, aber das Entscheidende für eine exzellente Bewertung ist das Herzblut, dass in dem Restaurant steckt.

There is something that French cooking has that simply cannot be replicated elsewhere. And Bistro 13 has it. We started with the salade d’aubergines (eggplant) which was both simple and extraordinary. My husband had the fish is an orange sauce that was light, delicate and flavorful. I had the classic salade Nicoise the green beans were cooked to perfection, as was the egg. The tuna was excellent and a generous portion as well. We could not have been more pleased. It was lovely also that it’s not touristy and felt very authentic.

Having read the reviews I think I must be missing something! To start with I will say one of us absolutely raved about her cod in orange and mustard sauce and the taste I had was very good and cod is a tricky fish to make interesting. However I have never eaten anything quite as odd as the candied halibut. Perhaps it lost something in translation since I couldn 't see anything candied, in fact the fish was so over cooked and tasteless where was the 'perforated basil ? that I wondered if it had been boiled.
