Bistrot du Boucher - Speisekarte

Es ist eine gute Adresse für die Bedienung, ein ausgezeichnetes Essen, das ich am liebsten mag. Die Küche ist perfekt und die Beilagen sind sehr gut. Der Service ist sehr angenehm und brauchbar.

From the staff to the food, it was a very enjoyable evening. Tried escargot for the first time (loved it) and many different wines. BIG HINT: don't get the lamb chops. If you need to have lamb try another dish, as the chops are 50% grizzle-the only disappointment of he night.

Ambience is cosy and special, service is excellent ( versus the standard in Geneva ) and the meat is always amazing. Plus, the trolley of desserts is amazing, but portions so big that makes sense to share. Is a bit overpriced, as a lot of places in Geneva indeed. Is one of my favorites.

Der Kader ist immer genial, im alten Boucherie-Stil wie in Indien. Das Steak-Tartar ist nicht so groß wie das, was es braucht; Moins bien preparé, moins gouteux, moins "parfumé" que du temps de l'ancienne patronne. Der Service ist tadellos, mit einem kleinen Fehler: Der rote Wein und das Pichet sind bouchonné ... aber ich habe es ersetzt! Den neuen Eigentümern schenkten sie noch eine Zugabe.

The restaurant was absolutely empty on à Easter Friday, which is weird as not so many restaurants were open in Geneva that day.The food was perfectly good and the waiter very friendly. The atmosphere was calm and the decoration is like a Brasserie. Nous sommes allés manger entre amis un mardi soir - jour des tartares tout comme le lundi - et avons été éblouis par la qualité de la viande et les saveurs des plats! Au menu plusieurs tartares très originaux allant des saveurs forestières, a landaises en passant par la Méditerranée, il y en a pour tous les goûts! Service impeccable et personnel très sympathique, c'est avec grand plaisir que nous y retournerons et ne pouvons que recommander vivement cet endroit chaleureux!

Qui croirait que derrière ces fenêtres surmontées d'une enseigne un peu rude se cache une petite merveille que les Parisiens doivent envier ? Le décor est charmant. Certes, ce n'est pas pour nos amis vegan mais pour qui aime les déclinaisons de la viande et des traditions, c'est un bonheur. L'émincé de veau à la zurichoise est parfait et les délicates portions de röstis le sont aussi. Et le service est ce qu'il devrait être: aimable, efficace, courtois. Seul bémol que connaissent toutes les brasseries, cela peut être un peu bruyant lorsque c'est plein. Mais cela reste une excellente adresse.

Nonostante l'impegno per farci sentire a nostro agio, il locale non mi ha personalmente convinto. Ambiente decò a parte, le porzioni sono state di certo abbondanti, ma il gusto delle pietanze non del tutto soddisfacente, forse mancavano di spezie. Il carrello dei desserts faceva la sua bella figura, con tutti i dolci fatti in casa, le porzioni però erano troppo abbondanti: io ho dovuto dare dare ad altri parte della mia cheesecake. Mi ha lasciato perplesso, di certo è un locale al quale bisogna dare una seconda opportunità, per poterlo capire appieno. Un ultimo appunto: non è decisamente per vegani come ristorante ;-)

We went to Bistrot du Boucher to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a large table for our group of ~10 people and most of us ordered the filet de boeuf. Overall good meat for all but mine was clearly over cooked - no debate... I mentioned it to the waitress, not asking for another piece but just to highlight it to their chef. Few minutes later she came back with a huge portion of beef perfectly cooked to replace mine. I was frankly surprised (positively).French fries are excellent: tiny, very crusty and tasteful.For desert, they come by your table with a little trolley to present all of their homemade pies, chocolate fondant, cakes.... we picked up a Tarte Tatin which was relay nice, well...
