However, it was tender but tasteless. I left about a third of the meat portion. The beef in the mixed roast was dry and curled and my guest said it looked like it had been under the heating lamp too long so he left that part of the meal. We passed these remarks onto a very pleasant waitress after paying and she did offer us a drink but we had already had our post meal drinks. The chicken meal was good and enjoyed by the third member of our party."

Food was good but the service was dreadful, 20 mins after eating our plates were still sitting there and we was waiting to get the bill. The inside restaurant was freezing, unfortunately not a good experience!

Such a shame that the main courses were so overpriced and bland. Service was fine but the noise level and ambiance made the experience poor . My chicken burger was chewy and my husband’s scampi and chips came with no vegetables for £16 ! Starters were overpriced Mezze board but very nice.

Choosing to sit outside on a lovely evening, we were bombarded by unruly children running riot around the tables. They were part of a large group the other side of the garden but paid no regard to diners and parents seemed unconcerned. Totally spoilt our evening and will not be back any time soon. Food was average at best and our wine choice unavailable. A slide in a pub garden is always a giveaway.
