Das Ambiente ist angenehm, genauso wie das Personal. Das Essen ist hervorragend und zu einem erschwinglichen Preis. Eine gute Adresse.

Very nice surprise, it was excellent, I had the prawns and I loved it. My friends chose the entrecôte and had a good piece. Wir mochten das Essen dort wirklich! Um auf den ersten Blick ehrlich zu sein, sah der Ort nicht aus, da er ein kulinarisches Vergnügen hatte... Wir haben dort gerade wegen der Gabel-App beendet. Aber was für eine Überraschung haben wir! Fabulous Lachsstar und Entrecote, ausgezeichnete Tiramisu und Schokoladenfond, um einige zu nennen. Wir waren nur ein paar Tage in Lausanne, konnten aber zweimal im Sidewalk Café dinieren. Wir kommen zurück, wenn wir wieder in die Stadt kommen.

We booked with the fork, they beat 50% discount promo this day. We arrived on time before 12:30. 30 minutes waiting for order (also drinks). Get our food at 14.00 (4x Pasta, 1x Risotto, 1x Agneau, 1x Pizza). The chicken in the pasta was extremely dry and hard. The rest was tasty, but after waiting for so long we were just upset. If someone had worn us, it would be good, but nobody mentioned it. When we asked about the waiting period at 13.45, we were told that it was normal in restaurants. If we complain again when we paid the bill, we have heard that we paid 50% so that “the waiting should be acceptable”. Not recommended.

Went for a hiking whole day, so we were looking for an early dinner before heading back home. So we searched and reserved a table for two at 17h00 via TheFork. But when we announced our reservation, the service crews and the owner said they don't open for dinner before 18h00. The owner said she also didn't receive a notification from TheFork about our reservation. So it's not their fault that our reservation wasn't valid for them. She asked us to wait for another hour, if we still wanted to dine. With the tone and the way she talked to the customers, I don't think we won't even put our feet there again. Notes: I still have two-star because I'm a nice person.
