"T/A is not a perfect system to assess restaurants, as I have often commented earlier, so even though we evaluated it as a means, it was actually better than the average, but some small things meant that it was difficult to evaluate it very well. So, for what is positive: the service was charming, courteous and helpful, no problems, very charming staff. the wine map was varied and had something for most pallets and most budgets, again no problem, so to the food, which for us was a bit mixed. My wife had the gezier salad to start and loved it, really good. I got the snail and it was as good but a little too salty (and I like salted food so it was a little too much for me!). dishes for my wife. She had the cannette that was accompanied by a good pepper sauce but the cannette was really hard enough. It's hard to say if it was the bird or the kitchen. I had the veal bone that was well cooked and very tasty. The vegetables were a little disappointing. . . canned peas and carrots, zucchini and too cooked peppers. We both had some sweets that my wife loved a lot but I found the cabbage paste rather dry and slipped and I guess it wasn't home. therefore a mixed result and an average value for a menu at 31 euros. I'd expect a little more. We'd go back... probably yes."

"The place is not unpleasant, but the kitchen. We were served with homemade chips. The very dark coloring gave a hint. Insipid if this taste of beignet oil...Rumsteak Frite...A plate without decoration (even not a pot of salad), small bowl of fries half of which are crammed. I fell on a perimeter mustard bag. (I watched the date on the bag following the unpleasant taste)For what is the round of desserts...Nothing that looks like a pie or a "real cake". It was honestly not appetizing. I risked on the tiramisu and a little fruit salad.Tiramisu not bad, fruit salad. I didn't know it could be missed. And this splendid menu for which one comes out with hunger costs 21 €If you add a coca to 4€ and a coffee to 3."

"Hormis la cuisine qui était bonne.. Serveuse peu aimable.. Nous avions réservé par téléphone à notre arrivé on nous a lâché une table à l’arrache à côté du passage toilette.. Les prix reste à désiré pour ce que nous avons dans l’assiette, 21,50€ le dos de saumon pour 3 bouchées.. Sans commentaires.. C’était la première et la dernière !"

"We arrived in Chaumont late in the evening, mid way to our top back to Calais, and we just wanted a nice and quick meal: we found this place by chance, after we discovered that another restaurant we were looking for (based on Trip Advisor) was closed. It is on a small and quit side road, and the names say it all: there is this nice little garden you can sit outside, and we really liked the idea. I went for an entrecôte with Lagren (a local cheese from a nearby town) melted on top, and it came served with fried potatoes (not quite chips, but cubes) like those made by grand ma, and a green and tomatoes salad: it was a fantastic steak and at a very good price. My wife went for the menu of the day, my daughter for fettuccine with Loren (same melted cheese as above). We had red house wine and it was very good. All in all, truly recommended, at about 50 euros for three people, including wine, you can't really ask for better value for money than this."

The boss is alone to do everything. an interminable explanation of a map can no longer be simplistic. the ingredients are in plastic boxes not labeled. The boss, who cooks, touches everything with his hands without washing them. It tightens your hand, touches the card and then the rocket (1st prize in bags) that it puts in all your plates, then the currency it makes you, then the balls it cuts by hand and all the other ingredients, etc. advice to sensitive stomachs. If you are hungry you will go out with hunger after more than 2h30 waiting and an even high addition. interesting can be for folklore."
