"We went for the really very good value set meal before the Hampstead theatre probably like everyone else there at 5.30 on a Thursday just before Christmas. We would happily have eaten either option for both courses. I managed to have chestnuts for every course a win in my book. Delicious bread to start with and then an ok chestnut and mushroom soup with a delicious mushroom pastry alongside. But the real triumph was the confit of duck with parsnip and savoy cabbage and a dark sauce. Plus we ordered extra sprouts and chestnuts and potatoes on the side. It was a delicious combination of tastes and textures: quite sweet in the parsnip and duck but the sprouts cut it. Desserts were fine: more chestnuts on the meringue and husband enjoyed raspberry creme brûlée. All that for £30 a head plus sides and Prosecco seemed a good deal to me and we would go back like a shot. The full menu is very much pricier but did look good"

I went for dinner with two cousins. We had a delicious meal and some very nice red wine. There were few people in the restaurant and so it was a bit somber, but the waiter was very helpful and the owner(? Maitre d' was friendly and good. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is perfectly situated within a few yards of the Hampstead Theatre and the clientele, like us, were mostly going there. The early meal was served efficiently without the usual panic of having to rush the last course.. The choice of food was interesting and we both enjoyed the food that we ordered. Certainly somewhere that warrants a return visit.

We celebrated my husband 's birthday here and the evening was a great success. The food was delicious and each table was served together, the service was excellent, the care taken with 'fussy eaters ' was exemplary and it was a 5-star experience. This was confirmed by all our friends the following day. Simon the owner could not have been more helpful and more professional.

Very convenient to the Hampstead Theatre but because of roadworks we were 20 minutes late for our reservation. They were not too happy about that and were not very welcoming. The food was tasty and nicely served but the waiter had a bad cold and kept blowing his nose between servings. Wouldn't really recommend unless you really needed a pre-theatre dinner very close to the theatre.

Enjoyed an excellent pre theatre meal. The set menu food was very good and between us we had both the starters and mains butternut squash soup and gravlax with beetroot followed by rump of lamb and hake. All the dishes were well prepared and presented. To accompany our food we enjoyed a very good French Pinot Noir. My only gripe was that for reasons that escaped me the head waiter would not serve me any bread until we had ordered notwithstanding that my guest arrived late and I had already ordered and was drinking our wine!

Bradley’s is one of my favourite places to lunch. This visit I had the latest version of the cuttlefish starter, this time with roasted peppers and sobrasada – it looked fantastic and tasted even better. For a main course, I had the bourride with aromatic vegetables – the fish cooking here is always excellent and the bourride did not disappoint, a rare treat. The roasted peaches finished things off very nicely. Alongside the well-designed dishes, excellent cooking and great presentation, the friendly and professional service, a well-made Manhattan, and good wine pairings all made for another relaxing experience – will be back soon!

Went for a pre Theatre meal on Saturday evening as we have done many times over the years. Usually the restaurant is full this time less than half full. The choice of food via the fixed price menus very good. Soup and soufflé for starter excellent. Schnitzel also good but my wife’s lamb dish poor really stringy.Deserts ok, Big issue was restaurant did not appear to have much heating on quite a cold damp evening. Neither of us felt comfortable.. This was confirmed by comments made by fellow diners we spoke to at the theatre who said this would be a factor in deciding whether to eat at Bradley’s the next time they went to Hampstead Theatre.

So, 12.15pm the sun is shining. We sat at the new outdoor terrace streetery shaded by fresh plants umbrellas. Relaxing, chatting... A bottle of water, mini breads of course the excellent Bradley's butter... We started with the most delicious croquettes a soft, cheesy bechamel with the most delicious pea puree, fried topped with a saracha esque mayo. I didn't read the menu hope my interpretation is correct? My colleague had the duck/ peach salad main size I had the caesar. Both superb. As a caesar expert !! , I loved the fact the baby anchovies were on the plate. The chicken breast was sooo succulent, fresh, tasty. Had to he organic? Anyways, the mains beyond. One Peronni two coffees they had...

We’ve been dining here for decades. It’s always been an excellent, well priced neighbourhood restaurant with good food and excellent abstract artwork on the walls apparently made by the owner . What’s changed? We’ve been twice this year, in February and November. The food and value are the same but the atmosphere is …toxic. The waiting staff are rushed, rude and frankly out of control. Any semblance of the happy environment conducive to an enjoyable meal experience is completely absent. From having to beg the waiting staff to switch of the max air conditioning on a cold February night because ‘we’re hot from rushing around’ to being attacked for arriving 15 minutes late ‘you should have been...
