Cafe De La Place - Speisekarte

Good food. Ate outside and watched the world go by. Staff friendly but not that efficient. Worth a visit but allow time.

Think the title sums it up only place open on a Sunday evening . The worst food I have ever had in France. The owners should be embarrassed !!

We had time to spare travelling between overnights on a Saturday and Argenton-sur-Creuse was a timely stop. The brasserie was busy, but we welcomed

friendly staff, food nice, we have eaten here about 7 times, nothing bad at all. Coffee typically French, but nice. We will continue to use when we are in Argenton

This is a central located restaurant with most people in town passing by. We ordered meal of the day and a tuna salad. Nothing much to talk about, but the outside seating are good. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped here by chance on a trip through the countryside. I loved my salad- fresh greens, bacon, Roquefort, croutons and light dressing. The setting was nice, the service a bit abrupt but we all loved what we ordered. Trying to recreate my salad at home!

With our family (2 adults and 2 kids) we had dinner. Also last year we were here during our stop-over from NL to South France. We ordered one pizza for our two kids. That was no problem and of course pizza for us. The pizzas were vert tastful, fresh and had a nice thin bottom. Perfect!

Food was ok, though plain and not very tasty. Dessert was better and good, especially the crêpe. But staff was somehow stressed out all the time even with a mostly empty restaurant. They were very unattentive and could not get a smile on their face. They all looked as if they just fought an argument (and lost). Trying to pay took at least 20 minutes and had to be asked twice.
