"We had not returned to this establishment to the change of owner and what a beautiful surprise great change!!! Pleasant staff, a simple home-made card with correct prices, a good lemonade was offered to me, finally I enjoy a real salad with good goat! A millefeuille in dessert made home super good, the ice is crafted.... Let positive bravo thank you, we will go back on it!"

"We stopped here on a very busy Sunday afternoon. We wanted to sit outside, but it was completely booked. We went inside and asked the waitress, who I would assume was the wife of the chef. She said they were full, but found us a...table. Even in the afternoon it had a linen tablecloth and napkins. The diners outside were bicyclers from many countries, inside was mostly French people. The menu was written on a blackboard, with another blackboard with the daily specials. The waitress was very personable and really kept the tempo going. While she spoke no English, she was easy to understand and told many stories. The menu is pretty traditionally French but the special of the day was Veau du morels. This was a veal meatloaf, sitting on top of a piece of veal, which was wrapped en croute. Very unusual and very good. We chose a Hubert Brocard Sancerre from a small but nice wine list. The view is very nice, as the restaurant sits right at the end of the bridge across the Loire in Chateauneuf. Very casual outside on the terrace, but more formal inside. Good food at reasonable prices. Plus a very nice and amusing waitress."

"The super nice surprise of the day: when we arrived at the end of the service, the welcome was very pleasant. Dishes like desserts are homemade, quality and plentiful, very tasty and at a very affordable price! The staff is courteous and smiling! Quite simply, this restaurant has nothing to envy of more expensive local addresses... We will return there without hesitation. Goat spinach lasagna with fresh spinach and generous goat cheese, well-dressed pizza, tarte tatin with very tasty crème fraîche, succulent raspberry bavarois, everything was a success."

"Unfortunately, there was no choice between several restaurants on Sunday. In the end, we were satisfied with quality and quantity. The service was a little overwhelmed, as other guests came as self-collectors. (Original view) Leider gab es zum Sonntag keine Wahl zwischen mehreren Restaurants. Am Ende waren wir mit der Qualität und Menge zufrieden. Die Bedienung war, da andere Gäste zwischendrin als Selbstabholer auftraten, etwas überfordert."
