Having recently changed management, I am sorry to say the food is quite simply not as good. The sandwiches were not bad, but not as good as they used to be and we are unlikely to return. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The food was beautifully prepared, and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere, and the bar is cozy, especially on winter nights—sometimes they even have a fire going. I've never had any issues with the food or service; the staff is always fantastic and friendly. Average cost per person: £30–40. Food: 5/5.

My meal of steak, that was perfectly cooked and seasoned followed by ice cream sundae was 5 stars. Wife's pot pie was very good but the sticky toffee pudding appeared to have been dried out so was tough. Advertised log burner was lovely looking but not lit and the room was a little chilly. I have visited the Britannia a number of times over the last couple of decades and notwithstanding the above slight issues this was the best it has been. All in all good value.

Was given envelopes with prizes in to be used in January, so went there tonight 25th, opened our envelopes one prize was 30%, and there, was 50% in the other envelope, the server took them and came back, and said we carnt use both envelopes, I got the manager, and wouldn’t honor them, even thoe, there was no mention on the envelope that you could only use one envelope, so be careful if you end up with these envelopes, it’s just a scam to get you in, then won’t honor them, so they lost some good customers, the managers restaurant attitude was terrible Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Speisekarte ansehen
