Cafe Amici - Speisekarte

Didn't know why the first review didn't go through. As others have always said, the quality has gone down badly and the place itself is dirty. Will never go back again

Just popped in for a quick coffee and ended up having a few. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, your not being rushed to finish your drinks. The food other people were eating looked and smelled very nice.

I came to this restaurant with my daughter for lunch. I had the chickpea salad and it was very delicious. The restaurant is small and cozy with limited seating, but there is additional seating upstairs. The cakes are absolutely delicious and the coffee is superb. I highly recommend trying the chai tea latte.

I have just been here for lunch after seeing a lot of social media about the wonderful new menu and chef . Unfortunately there was no evidence that either of these exist . A hot drink and very average toasties for two came to 18.95 ! Didn't air my views to the waitress as she is not responsible for how awful it is ! Very very dissatisfied and wouldn't come back .what's gone wrong guys , I'd love to know

After having a positive experience at Amici in the past, we decided to give it another try, only to be sorely disappointed. The food was of poor quality and extremely overpriced, resulting in a frustrating dining experience where we felt like we had wasted our money. We can only assume that there is new management in place, as the difference from our previous visit was significant. Unfortunately, we do not plan on returning.

As other reviews have mentioned, this cafe has absolutely changed for the worst. We used to visit this cafe regularly, now we will not be returning. The quality of food now is uncomparable to what it used to be, very very cheap quality, yet priced the same? It is very noticeable that the kitchen staff have changed, I presume the business has changed hands which is a real shame. Save your money and stay clear to avoid any disappointment.

My mother and I decided to have a salad at this restaurant. However, I believe, actually KNOW! that my 4-year-old sister could make a better salad. It was pre-packaged with no dressing or sauce, just plain salad from a packet! The hot chocolate was good, but it's not difficult to make a decent hot chocolate - then again, neither is making a salad! The prices are too high for the quality of the food. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Have just been to Amici's after a long absence. They have a new chef (hopefully he will stay). They have a specials board from which we chose the fish and chips. We were not disappointed. Our meal arrived with 3 pieces of fish done in a crispy breadcrumb, along with minted mushy peas, lovely homemade chips and a superb tartare sauce. Everything was very tasty and fresh and I would highly recommend. My husband was going to have the chicken salad but as it was so cold outside he decided on the same as me. I'm glad he did because there would have been a bit of food envy!! The girls who work there are super friendly and I wouldn't hesitate going back.

After eating here earlier in the year and being extremely disappointed, I'm pleased to report that a new chef is in residence and that the quality of the food has improved immeasuarably. We tried a burger (and chips) and a ham mushroom omelette (and chips) and both were really very good. The dishes were fresh, tasty, well presented and extremely enjoyable. The chips were excellent, the side salad appealing and the main components well prepared and well portioned. The waitress staff were friendly and attentive. The menu is a little limited (sandwiches, burgers, omelettes and a small kids' selection) but the specials board has at least 6 dishes which (on this visit) included pasta, risotto, sa...
