We have been to this cafe many times over the years whilst visiting SW France. Yet again, we had a wonderfully fun and relaxing time. We watched the world go by on a sunny October Saturday and it was so lovely to be back.

In the centre of a charming village, this restaurant/bar café is a pleasant place that serves traditional lottery cuisine and vegetarian dishes. Simple and warm welcome. Beautiful terrace overlooking the square. Lunch formula.

Disappointed. Vegetables are not seasonal compared to what is indicated on the map. The food is fade and it is clear to think of frozen... To crown everything, the dishes are expensive! Tourism restaurant enjoying their location simply! Except for that, the service is nice.

We went as a family of 4.It is centrally located in the lively town of Montcuq.It doesn't look amazing from outside, as you have to walk through the bar in order to get to the lovely restaurant/ cafe that is at the rear of the building.The menu has a fairly standard range of fayre, supplemented by some interesting Thai inspired dishes. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English.Nice food. Open fireplace. Reasonably priced.

We were staying for a week nearby and had dinner here twice in that time. The first time it was nice enough to sit outside under the large tree in the centre of the village which was so nice. The staff were friendly and service was excellent, the Anglo/Belgian owers are very hospitable. The menu is substantial, something for everyone, we had steaks, omelette and the confit duck all very good. Desserts were also delicious. When siiting inside there is a welcoming fire. The wine menu is good and very reasonable we had a carafe of the local red which was great. We can highly recommend this restaurant.
