Very enjoyable afternoon tea at the Portrait Gallery. Cannot fault the quality of the food or the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.

Lovely place setting, beautiful presentation. Gorgeous food. Good at accommodating dietary requirements such as gluten free. Was a lovely afternoon tea!

We had a lovely afternoon tea. Staff were very friendly. Great value for money and it is such a lovely venue Goodie bags provided for what we couldn’t eat.

the afternoon was nice, but the service was very bad. No one came to see if we were in order with the food or if we wanted more tea. the worst? has been paid for our food for 25 minutes

Great experience ! Lovely side room so beautiful setting and the tea was incredible mostly home made including delicious jam. Booking and service all easy too Then you can walk the food off by exploring the amazing art gallery.

today I took 2 older ladies for afternoon tee in caffe, the personal saw them arrive and immediately came to help them in the building and to solve themselves, the tee itself was delicious and very favorable amazing service, friendly and attentive, would highly recommend

after much time spent checking the pictures was a stop for the afternoon perfect. the choice of food somewhat different from the normal. but what made it special. small cup with suppe, tiny flan, hearty scenes, fruits, cream and jam as well as a selection of delicious cake. endless tee. a happy experience with friendly staff and little space to think.

The cakes were delicious as also and so were the mini bagels. The member of staff was very attentive which was lovely. I have been a few times and love the setting. Unfortunately the soup was rather bland lentil whereas it is usually really interesting and different. Also, the sandwich of cream cheese and cucumber was rather bland salmon would have been nice. Lastly the scones were rather dry. I will come back because it has been better every other time.

We had a lovely afternoon tea which served in the quiet room. I loved the little bowl of soup and the beautiful presentation of the dishes. Very nice cake selection and we had our first taste of edible flowers. The scones would be my least favourite part as think I would have expected different' scones from the usual there and they were rather dry. Also one jar of jam and cream were a bit small portion for the four scones however the black currant jam was delicious.
