Cafe Tabou - Speisekarte

Packed in like sardines. Simply awful. A terrible experience. I will never go back

This is my favourite lunch venue in all of Scotland. The ambience and food transport me to French holidays . A truly Gallic experience.

Came on 13th Feb for a Valentine's meal, service was very good, ambience was first class and the food was the best French cuisine I've had outside of France the red wine and shallot sauce they had on when we visited was impeccable. Speisekarte ansehen

We have visited this restaurant multiple times over the years. The food is excellent in quality and the menu options are extensive and regularly updated. The atmosphere is pleasant and there is always a lively buzz with the constant flow of customers. It is a perfect spot for a nice meal out or for a special celebration.

Excellent food and friendly, helpful and attentive service. Very welcoming, warm and atmospheric. Good variety on the set menus plus option for courses from the day's specials menu. Excellent prices. A romantic meal red roses on the tablel and a glass of complementary champagne to start the evening. Thoroughly enjoyable evening thank you!

I used to dine at this restaurant when it was owned by different management and it was excellent. The food is still top-notch, although the price for their 2-course lunch menu is slightly higher compared to other restaurants in Perth. The wine selection is pricey and could use some improvement, but overall, the restaurant offers good value for the money in Perth's competitive food scene. Speisekarte ansehen

The restaurant was bustling with customers, so our food took a while to arrive, but we were in no hurry. Unfortunately, some of the dishes were disappointing, particularly the fish pie, which showed a lack of attention from the chef with many fish bones present and poor quality fish. However, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient, which helped make up for the kitchen's shortcomings.

We came for a pre-theatre meal before a concert in the evening. The food was amazing, it was the staff that let it down. I was unable to finish my starter and received a dirty look and a comment from the waitress serving us. We were then left waiting over 20 minutes for the dishes from our main course to be removed, meaning that we didn't have time to get coffee or dessert. If the service had been improved it would have been the perfect evening out.

We consulted Open Table and it delivered this wonderfully French restaurant. From starters through mains and to pudding/coffee everything was truly delicious. The flavours, the generous portions, the timing, and the service were all outstanding. each mouthful was a gastronomic delight. Well done team. The wines complemented the food perfectly and when asked advice the waitresses were knowledgeable but not pushy. We would go back in a heartbeat and it is a good job we don 't live there or we would gain a number of pounds. thanks to both waitresses, the chef and kitchen staff and Open Table, our evening in Perth on business turned out to be a joy.
