Absolutely perfect in every way. The chef personally came out to talk to me about the exquisite dishes they serve, while the gracious host took care of me with a fantastic bottle of Italian wine. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

This restaurant is a welcoming spot. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing prompt and efficient service. The handcrafted cakes are delicious, and the espresso coffee is excellent – coming from an Italian, that's saying something! We definitely plan on returning as soon as we can.

Stumbled across this cosy Italian gem when we were visiting friends in Melton. It was a lovely setting and atmosphere to relax in and we started off with olives and bread, which was yummy. The pizzas looked and smelt amazing so we ordered the white pizza, it was super tasty and the dough had a lovely texture. We will definitely be visiting this proper Italian cafe as much as we can! We stumbled upon Caffe Italia after our visit to the osteopath and were pleasantly surprised. The cozy set-back area immediately caught our attention, and we decided to have tea/coffee and two cakes. The quality of everything was top-notch, including the tea, which can sometimes be hit or miss in cafes. After seeing the menu, I am eager to return for some Italian food. The service was great and the atmosphere was charming. The only downside was the location of the toilets down a steep set of stairs, but they were clean and had a pleasant scent. I would definitely revisit Caffe Italia.

A great recommendation for those who prefer to dine earlier in the evening is Caffe Italia on Church Street. This charming Italian restaurant offers its evening menu on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. In addition to their delicious daytime menu which includes pizzas, they also have a tempting set menu with 2 courses for £17 or 3 courses for £22. I highly recommend trying the Spaghetti all vongole and the Strozzapreti pasta with lamb ragu, as well as the Caramel Pannacotta for dessert. While they do offer a takeaway service, dining in allows you to enjoy the excellent service and the relaxed atmosphere. Don't forget to take advantage of their 2 for £10 cocktails during Happy...
