Had our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding at Chateau Lartigolle. The chef is obviously very proud and passionate about his food and created very refined menu out of excellent local ingredients. We booked the whole place out for 50 pounds a head including wine which was exceptional value for food of this quality. Highly recommended

The restaurant itself is very modern and elegant. The staff are charming, welcoming and helpful. Service is perfect and unobtrusive. But of course the best thing is the food which is exceptional. I can't remember the last time I tasted so many distinct, fresh and delicious tastes within each dish.Highly recommended. Make sure you book as it's always full and you can't just walk in.

Auch and its surroundings are home of many good restaurants but this one is special . Sophisticated and refined food, large portions, at a very reasonnable price. On week ends, you'll pay only 25 euros for a three meal course ! We went there the 6 of us and tried everything (there are 4 first meals, 4 main and 4 desserts) , none of us was disappointed. Right off the beaten track in a tiny village, this small and unassuming restaurant had some of the best food I've eaten in this region. Local wines, a set menu and mainly French folk eating here (always a good sign), the food was fresh, imaginative and delicious. Beautifully presented and so far from the usual duck, duck and more duck that it almost wasn't real. The set menu of 25 euros was such good value.

Wonderful freshly cooked dishes -so very French. . The owner-chef greets you and you have tasty surprise appetisers between courses. .We couldn't fault it - so many tastes and all beautifully presented. The restaurant was chosen by my sister, who lives in France but at least 25 miles away. It had been strongly recommended to her by a friend, and all of us said it had been an ideal place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

My family and I dined here on the Thursday the week of my wedding. Sophisticated and beautifully plated food obviously cooked with a lot of care and pride. Each separate food on the plate complimented each other perfectly. Locally cooked produce made to perfection. The owner-chef was an utter delight, taking care to speak to my family and I and also to wish us well when we were leaving. Eighteen of us booked in for a delightful supper - another group from the fabulous Chateau Lartigolle, this time for a pre-wedding celebration of one of the owners. It was my fourth or fifth time of visiting and whether it's for lunch or dinner the food is always beautifully, freshly cooked (especially the fish, a personal favourite) and the wines are faultless (local Gers wine, a relatively undiscovered region in UK terms) and value for money?? ... practically unbeatable! It has become incredibly popular though, so booking ahead is highly recommended

This has to be one of the best meals we have had for 13.50 and with a decent rosé included. The chef was working on his own in the kitchen yet still managed to speedily send out the dishes to every table. There was a choice of plat du jour, I chose leek flan with a mushroom sauce as starter, and a perfectly fried hake with a crispy outside, on a bed of tagliatelle and vegetables as main course. Pudding was a choice of apple crumble and chocolate fondant. All delicious. The fact that it's difficult to get a reservation indicates how good this restaurant is.

We went for Tuesday Lunch (reservation advisable) and all both couples tried different elements of each of the 3 course menu. We received a warm welcome, were quickly seated and offered Menus and asked if we would like an Aperitif. Ordering was simple, dishes were explained when asked for. Appetising presentation for each of the plates, house wine (rosé or red) was very acceptable. Coffee was an addition to the set menu - which is very cheap for the quality and variety of ingredients. We all 4 agreed that we would return soon. The patron and his assistant displayed great imagination and skill in preparation and presentation. Altogether a very pleasant experience.
