"It was supposed to be romantic dinner and everything was as I expected! Monday night and rainy day! But the surroundings were fantastic ! We ate on a farmhouse table in the deli shop (only three tables) between fresh produce and deli counter. The service was very friendly but the food was amazing! As a chef myself we took the white asparagus dressed with the finest Spanish olive oil and a salad of white tuna. Simple as you may think but the quality of the produce were exceptional! For the main course we took their speciality beef which was seared and grilled on an hot smoked broiler which will make a lot of American meat specialist jealous!Seriously I travel a lot around the world for my job as a chef and it is with pleasure to reassure you that if you come to Bilbao it is a must to stop to this restaurant!! And for the final try the chocolate truffles which will make your palate melt instead of the chocolate! Overall again this kind of little secret restaurant where you will find that the ingredients are chosen with love and cooked with passion!! Seriously not to be missed at any price!!!"

Viendo los comentarios fui con cierta reticencia pero he de decir que con nosotros fue todo muy bien. Los platos que pedimos fueron de pescado y también la ensaladilla, y todo estaba muy bueno y con buena materia prima, binomio calidad/precio correcto. La comanda la fueron sirviendo escalonadamente sin prisas pero sin pausas cosa que agradezco con respecto a sitios con más bullas. El personal alguno más simpático que otro (como todo en la vida) pero todos atentos y serviciales. Terraza muy agradable en el paseo marítimo. Volveremos.
