"El sitio es bonito, pero la experiencia ha sido pésima. El cocinero llegó tarde y abrió la cocina casi una hora más tarde de la hora de reserva (14h). Tras esperar más de una hora y media a que nos sirvieran, no nos trajeron la comanda adecuada. Cuando reclamamos, tampoco nos la hicieron a nuestro gusto (sólo pedimos que nos empanaran un filete en lugar de un filete a la plancha, e incluir queso y pimientos en un pepito de ternera, bastante simple, pero tras hora y media ni siquiera supieron hacer eso, sino lo tenían habernos avisado cuando lo pedimos, no tras hora y media esperando). La calidad de la comida era mediocre (carne con mucho nervios y muy pasada a la plancha, y por lo tanto sequísima, y patatas fritas pero secas que parecían congeladas, y el pan de pepito bastante normalito y nada crujiente). Lo más simpático es que la carne extra cocinada venía además con brasas negras pegadas, síntoma que no se ha limpiado la plancha en días o semanas. Creo que no he comido tan mal en ningún otro sitio de Madrid. Lo único que hicieron en respuesta a este mal servicio fue invitarnos a una ronda extra de bebidas (una cerveza y un mosto), toda una consideración. No recomiendo a nadie comer en este sitio, lo siento."

I booked with the fork but unfortunately I was unhappy with my experience at this time. Food didn’t taste good as traditional Spanish restaurant and service was quite poor. The restaurant was empty as well

Our visit was quite disappointing. The food was not very good. Furthermore, they brought the wrong kind of paella and instead of telling us that they did not prepare the one we wanted, they must have quickely prepared it and served it too early (before the rice was cooked). On top we waited for eternity which, with four small kids, was not a great plus either. Maybe its usually better, as it has been recommended to us. But we certainly will not go to Tía María ever again.
