"L'orage est arrivé juste avant nos assiettes. Nous avons fait échange de nos places avec deux personnes qui souhaitaient rester dehors mais à l'abri (une histoire farfelue de mauvaises ondes...) et avons pris la seule table à l'intérieur, nous retrouvant ainsi presque dans un restaurant ouvert rien que pour nous, avec les bruits de la cuisine, les mots doux de la cuisinière pour son mari et inversement, les étagères de bons produits locaux... Et puis il y a eu une ratatouille divine, des gâteaux délicieux, une étrange histoire avec pour héros un Mint Julep, quelques rires et beaucoup de sourires et de bonheur... Comme une soirée entre amis. Pour un petit prix, même si dans des cas comme ça, le prix, on s'en fout !Merci merci, pour l'accueil, pour le repas et pour les souvenirs !"

"Extraordinary place full of history is made so that one feels well disappointed the first reception. The charming owner always ready to come to inform the client, a good atmosphere you feel very well. He is also ready to inform us about the place with a pleasure and joy that we feel very strong, it feels good. The place is loaded with culture and we are almost delighted that the Proprietary will meet us to share and guide us on our tours and hikes. Really a rich and friendly experience, simple that does good or feel good. We will come back here with pleasure for the place, for the village and all the happiness and dislocation we could have during this short stay. Thank you again it is not my habit to write reviews but there something pushes me to do so and so we plan a return already to fully enjoy everything and hikes that we could not do."

"This is a very welcoming restaurant in the heart of Montolieu. It is run by a husband and wife team, who respectively perform the chef and front of house roles. Terry, front of house, is always relaxed and welcoming. The menu is excellent value. We particularly enjoyed the jarret de porc (knuckle of pork) and joue de porc (cheek of pork) main courses, and even the house carafe wine is from a good vigneron and is very acceptable. They offer a good kids menu, but maybe an ice cream offering for kids would be a good idea?"
