Ca´te Brasserie Blackheath

I frequent this restaurant weekly because the food is delicious, the service is great, and the brunch is soul-warming. Highly recommend!

Popped in for lunch the other day and it met all the requirements of a quick and easy meal. Our waiter was friendly and precise, our food was correct and tasted nice. I had the chicken and it was actually really nice.

Birthday dinner, had advised the restaurant but they forgot, but rectified after a reminder .. French Onion Soup is amazing, chicken needed to be cooked for slightly longer, lovely desserts .. Good restaurant, a favourite of mine

I recently visited Cote Brasserie with my family to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was a wonderful night. We enjoyed salmon, sea bass, and burgers, all of which were fresh, satisfying, and delicious. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I must say that their coffee was perfect - truly perfect!

We tried Cote Blackheath's lunch special, and were pleasantly surprised. The portions were large, and of good quality. The service was friendly and efficient, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Blackheath has needed a new good value, quality restaurant for a while, and it seems Cote, with their well established offering, is exactly what was required.

Called in on the off chance for dinner last night, power failure in Greenwich prevented meal at booked restaurant, managed to squeeze us in at table near serving area, not too bad. Good choice, good service, pleasant attentive staff. A La carte and specials menus, I went for crab mayonnaise with sour dough bread, my wife roquefort salad followed by the haddock special and steak hache followed by coffee. All good quality, good timing. Will return

We decided to celebrate my sisters ' birthday at Côte, Blackheath, last Sunday. The service when it eventually arrived was surprisingly impressive. Maddalena was very friendly and accommodating but every stage of our meal had an over extended interval, to the point where we even had to get up to request the bill. The food, however, was completely underwhelming and £148 later, we all wish we had just gone to Pizza Express, or even Nando 's. The chicken was dry and tasteless; the steak which had 'served pink ' as the only option was tough and cooked through; the calamari was greasy and tasteless. I had a wonderful experience dining at Cote Brasserie recently. Their set menu, available until 7pm, is a great deal at £12.95 for 3 courses. The quality of the food was impressive, with delicious options to choose from. I started with the butternut squash salad, which was light and flavorful with a tasty dressing. My friend enjoyed the generous portion of whitebait and was also given complimentary bread. For our mains, I had the breaded chicken which was filling and delicious. My friend had a crepe with ham and egg, served with salad and fries, and it was equally enjoyable. We treated ourselves to dessert and I tried the apple crumble which was delicious, while my friend had coconut sorbet...

I live a road away from here, and we recently discovered I have a gluten intolerance, so it's always tricky for me to find somewhere to eat where I don't have to be super picky, so we did a quick google for a local restaurant that's respected for its coeliac friendliness, and it's the one restaurant in the entire village with a specialist gluten free menu (which they've recently upgraded stylistically to look like a regular menu).
