Château de la Cazine

The rooms are still a beautiful as ever, but oh my how the food has gone done hill, dull, plain and cold. I had to return mine un touched pretty much.

Stayed at the chateau for 3 wonderful nights, exvellent food, great setting and staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Great place to escape to.

Had lunch here for my birthday, what a lovely treat. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our meal was delicious. The setting is beautiful, and we will be going back for our anniversary. Speisekarte ansehen

Why 4*, first of all because in the shower area a lot of mold as well as the section of wall between the 2 windows. On the other hand, the television has very few French channels. The staff is very welcoming and very attentive. Very good table.

This rates as one of the top 10 places I have eaten at. The quality, presentation and taste of the dishes was amazing. The foire gras the best I have ever eaten and I used to live in the Gers, so know what I am talking about. Upon sending compliments to the Chef via the excellent waitress from Halifax, I was told he would be happy, as it was the younger of the two in house Chefs. Looking forward to a return visit.

We recently got married at the Chateau. I cannot express how amazing the two days we spent with our guests were. Activities; there are quite a few from waking paths, to horseback riding, to fishing. Food; world class. Setting; the Chateau is so grand it's difficult to comprehend from the photos. Wedding planning; Stephanie was tremendous, the entire staff was so helpful. We are still on cloud nine about how amazing the experience was. For anyone looking for a different wedding experience I would recommend this 10x out of 10. Don't even think about it, just book it! So, so happy we decided to have lunch here. Although we opted for the "Tous Au Resto" discount offer of 2 for 1 meals we were not treated any differently to other diners. The mise en bouche, which were fantastic, the choice of butters with our warm bread and all the dishes we beautifully presented, tasted fabulous and using seasonal, local ingredients the dishes were also very typical of this department. The location is beautiful and the views from the dining room are stunning. All added to the experience. A warm welcome and a very comfortable dining experience which we promise we will repeat with friends and family.

We stopped overnight in this magnificent chateau on our return from England. We fortunately chose to eat in the restaurant and were glad of the decision. The English waitress was cheerful and helpful, and whilst the service was not rapid - it was appropriate for the gourmet experience that we enjoyed. The foie gras was some of the best I have eaten, and we were informed that it was made "in house" by the chef. The fish courses were exquisite and the meat courses hugely enjoyable. The organic white cote du rhone was delicious and full of complex flavours. I initially thought this to be expensive at 35 euros - but it proved to be well worth it. A very pleasant experience all round.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the Chateau and the restaurant. We had a wonderful waitress called Jolina who interacted brilliantly with our 10 year old son, encouraging him with his French and complimenting him on his effort.No kids menu here and we were concerned that our son would find nothing to eat, but the chef on both nights (30th and 31st May) cooked steak and chips and chicken skewers and chips which our son enjoyed!! Panic over!! We were extremely grateful!!Our food was excellent served by attentive staff. We felt the price was quite reasonable for the quality.
