a place always full in the evening and very cozy - we got several recommended, but were disappointed - the dishes were average of taste and not very special, the menu for 38 overpriced, only atmosphere was great.

If you like to a have dinner in a canteen it is the right place, if you want to enjoy good Food and good meat, for what we came it is not the place. One time was more than enough to discover that it is...a bluff!

We had a family dinner. The place is located in a very nice village up Calvi and away from the busy coast. Dinner was very nice and atmosphere very pleasant. Very generous dishes, we could not eat at the end the cheese platter but we...did have desserts. Very recommendable.

chez edgard is a pure theater from the beautiful environment to enjoy the greeting of edgard itself to the hufröstenfleisch. eating is tasty and plentiful, wee great worth, and the staff super helpful. All-in-all this for a fantastic family meal and an unforgettable evening.

Really enjoyed this experience, unusual and unique. It’s very good value for money, there is so much to eat. Started off with an aperitif which was Muscat wine. A hearty soup followed, delicious. Then a slice of quiche which had cheese, mint other ingredients,...again very good. Main event was meat of which there were several choices; beef, chicken, veal, lamb and wild boar, all cooked in a variety of ways. I chose grilled lamb and my OH chose veal in a cream fig sauce. One of the best fixed menus I have ever had. 36 euro for a rich vegetable soup, delicious quiche, your choice of meat (I chose the veal with fig and cream sauce which was delicious, my friends had the veal that was roasted in its...entirety outside, and the other options were either stewed veal or roasted veal liver), cheeses with marmalade and then a dessert of choice. The staff was friendly and attentive. The person, who I presume was the manager, came over to our table in the middle of the meal and spoke to us in perfect Italian (I was with a group of Italians at the time). He checked to see that everything was going well and offered to get us some more meat if we were hungry. In the end...

and went past the mountain on a trip. we have read from this place somewhere or others and have been driving by chance to get one up into the mountain. we stopped talking to the very pleasant mozen and booked table...for Friday night. the taxi fare was 60 euro from calvi and back, but it was safer than to drive at night on the twisted roads. led in a large building style room with fire. it reminded me of a little Norwegian setting must be the rustic nostalgie feeling. set them dinner at 39 euro, explained by laid back, but completely bewitching and professional staff. a suppe that had sweet and local criminal and made clear with an excellent stock pot, without doubt with bark meat, wild boar...
