We found this place on Yelp and stopped by It was super busy and, even though we didn't have a reservation, they squeezed us in.

Best fish I've ever had !!! What a great place. Traditional French cuisine. Very cozy place. I highly recommend this place. They had a variety of dishes, clearly freshly prepared.

Popular place and deservedly so. We were served prosecco on the house whilst we waited 10 min in the lively street. Good atmosphere inside with attentive hard working staff. We were recommended and pleased we came. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a lovely evening in this happy and friendly restuarant. People were waiting for tables but happy to sip a glass of wine and hang out. Menu is not that long but everything is cooked fresh and they have a blackboard of specials. I would highly recommend a visit.

Charming, cosy little restaurant in Saint Germain. Very authentic, reasonably priced and friendly service. The bourguignon is absolutely amazing, I think we'll be talking about it for years. They were very accommodating of our 2 year old and baby, although being so cosy it's not easy to keep them still when they get restless! Speisekarte ansehen

I will remember this restaurant for the rest of my life. We felt like family from the moment we walked through the door. The staff, the food, the ambiance...simply the best of everything. If you have the pleasure of meeting Batiste, he will make your day. If you are in Paris and do not visit this hidden gem, you will have missed something very special.

Of the many restaurants on rue Guisarde, Chez Fernand is always a good choice. The menu is classic french bistro cuisine but always of excellent quality. The chef - who has been there for years - makes the effort to ensure his dishes are always better then expected. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and he has certainly never let me down in the many years I've visited the restaurant. Just beware that this is a well known restaurant and if you want to be sure to have a table (even in August) make reservations...

Chez Fernand is a classic French bistro. Nothing fancy here, just really well-prepared French food. It was jam-packed on a weeknight at 10 pm when we arrived for our reservation. We waited at the small bar area for a table to open up. The friendly bartender whipped us up a champagne cocktail with campari. The place was buzzing with locals and tourists alike. The tables are pretty close together. This is not a place for quiet conversation. If you are under the spell of Paris and are looking forward to eating some amazing food, none of this will bother you. I had a haricot vert appetizer and my husband had escargot to start.
