"Four people want to have a good meal so we search the reviews and up pops "Chez Vincent". Well, as they say, it's always a ****-shoot, but we decided to take a chance and were most definitely not disappointed and as we awaited our first course we whet our appetites with a simple amuse-bouche and a sip or two of Chateau Les Crostes rouge. Three of us had decided to take the 30€ menu and to start the meal our friendly waiter, Vincent's brother-in-law, placed before us Salade St Marcelline, a well filled bowl of fresh lettuce topped with among other morcels, a deliciously gooey piece of the eponymous cheese baked in crumbs and herbs, several pieces of jambon cru, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes. Happily unrushed we chatted away, contented to be inside on a damp rainy evening, until our main courses arrived, Confit de Canard for those of us taking the table d'hote and Roti Saumon for my wife. Not a disappointed face anywhere and four clean plates told the story. The duck was tender and tasty, the salmon light and moist, and the sides and sauces well suited to each. The rains got heavier as we relished our vittles and so arrived at the time for the sweetest of decisions, Fondant Chocolat for two, a Creme Brulee for one and Croute de Pommes for me. We could not have asked for a better meal, with friendly service in comfortable surroundings, and all at a reasonable price that well matched the quality we received."

Well it had a lot to live up to as Che Vincent was a great place to eat- but although it wasn't quite there yet- my husband and I enjoyed our meal of Duck and the chocolate pudding was lovely and runny. Pleasant staff. We will return.

We had a very nice dinner ar Chez Flo, earlier known as Chez Vincents. 10 guests with various needs and preferences were all served effectively and with civilised charme! Food was excellent and the staff were welcoming. This place deserves succes !

Husband had a curry sauce with chicken. He liked it very much but I was glad that I had ordered a salad full of my favourite things. Ice cream lovely. A nice everyday lunch. Nothing special but reflected in he reasonable price of the set menu. The situation was very pleasant by the fountain. Speisekarte ansehen

After the push and pull of the Tuesday market we escaped to the peaceful side street cooled by a fountain and dappled with noon sunlight. A bottle of rose' to accompany a delicious light lunch made for a perfect two hour respite. Recommend le salade oceane for lunch and try the Colonel (lemon sorbet and vodka) for dessert. Now off to our busy travels again.

I read a few negative comments but we tried this restaurant this night and we were really satisfied. The owners are friendly and charming. We had our kids with us and they got served almost immediately (since kids can be really hungry ) . The food itself is good. Not exceptional, but perfect value for money within this area. We had the cheapest red and white wine and they were both very good! I had the shrimps as main dish and tomato carpaccio as starter . That last one was excellent. I would recommend this place!!

We enjoyed the Gambas for lunch and noticed other visitors enjoying their selections. Although my previous review was for Chez Vincent, somehow Trip Advisor carried it over to Chez Flo as it took over the restaurant for Chez Vincent, albeit with a different menu.So this review is for the new owner and some different dishes. We were happily surprised that the quality of food retained, although some dishes changed. Miss the wonderful hamburgers that Chez Vincent served, but can highly recommend their dishes served. Definitely will return soon. Speisekarte ansehen

Seating outside puts you in the centre of Lorgues. Cars passing but not in a bad way. It's a small town and everything feels local because it is. Service was sweet. Had the big tour the menu in french which I do not speak. Found out everyone spoke English fluently. So the food was a mix of several choices. Two had the entre-cote/frites with truffle sauce. It was fine, not fancy. One had the risotto with clams. Also very good and very rich in taste and calories. I had a dish with grulled thna. Big mistake. It was overcooked and not a presentable slice. The polenta was dry. Veggies were very tasty. Would I come back? Yes!

As residents of Lorgues, we booked because of nice comments and new owners. It was a special occasion for us. We dined with good friends. There was no menu only à la carte. There was a dish of the day but it didn't take our fancy. Starters, salads starting from 16 euro's, Foie gras 27€. We shared 2 of those. The Foie was already greyisch of colour, a poor quality, which you wouldn't expect for that price. Main course lamb (noix), our requested dish was only available for 1, the waitress who took our order suggested an another lamb dish, which was not on the menu and as we found out when settling the bill 5€ more expensive!! The others changed to . The veggies are over cooked, the mash is thr...

"Le Jardin de Berne is undoubtedly our favorite Michelin-starred restaurant for 2024. We were expecting friendly Provençal cuisine, but this dinner went well above our expectations. Louis Rameau's cuisine is infinitely precise, tasty and sincere. This dinner (October 2024) at the Michelin-starred restaurant of the Château de Berne (where we had an excellent stay) was truly a memorable experience, surpassing all our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were seduced by the exceptional setting: nestled in the heart of the Provencal vineyards, this place exudes elegance and serenity. The view is splendid, and the decor refined and refined. The dining room team was able to welcome us with professionalism and delicacy (a constant during this meal) and every detail of the service is thought of to make us feel privileged. Thanks to them. In terms of cuisine, Louis Rameau offers a true ode to Provence. Each dish highlights local and seasonal products, sublimated with remarkable creativity. The cuisine is frank, direct without ever betraying the essence of Provençal flavors. And the balance of textures and tastes on each plate is perfectly mastered. What we liked was the readability of the plates. No frills here, what is announced is found on the plate and in the mouth. It’s frank, delicate and without unnecessary pretentious folklore around. Huge favorite for the trout poached in olive oil mushroom gnocchi (a marvel of sweetness), the leek cooked twice with anchovies (divine) and the remarkable olive dessert from pastry chef Eric Raynal , high-flying! The menu/card presented to you is in itself a very beautiful object which highlights all the values of the house. A unique, sincere and very appreciable approach. From the ceramist responsible for tableware, to the Provençal producers/suppliers, to the market gardening approach of the house, their production of cheese, honey... the emphasis is on the good, the local, the virtuous. No wonder the restaurant also won a green macaron, demonstrating a committed and responsible approach to gastronomy. Also worth mentioning is the very fine wine list, which obviously gives pride of place to local wines. And thank you to the sommelier for her very good suggestion. In short, this restaurant is much more than a simple meal, it is an immersion in the Provençal art of living, enhanced by an enchanting setting and high-end cuisine. An essential address for gastronomy lovers looking for authenticity and refinement. And without a doubt, soon to be double-starred (it would be more than deserved). We left the Château de Berne enchanted and impatient to return for a new culinary discovery."
