Chez Papa - Speisekarte

I had daily offer, my friend try the duck. It was very delicious, with friendly service. Do you like friendly service, family restaurant with homemade menu? This is your choice.

En réalité, c'est une chaine récente ....le tartare de boeuf n'est pas préparé ....la planche mixte charcuterie et fromage est trés copieuse mais de qualité moyenne !le service rapide sans grand intérêt

En sortant de l'opéra nous avons trouvé ce restaurant encore ouvert. Les salades sont généreuses, mais le goût n'est pas là et de plus la sauce est trop très grasse.Dommage, le personnel est quant a lui sympathique. Speisekarte ansehen

Rien à redire, service de qualité , ambiance sympa, repas copieux, carte un peu chargée , dans l'ensemble bonne prestation. Peut être un peu plus d'attention sur la cuisson du hamburger demandée saignante, arrivé un peu cuit.

Lovely restaurant in the Bastille Neighbourhood. Ample seating inside and outside. We had one of their signature burgers (with a "secret" sauce) and another baked dish with chicken and potatoes. The food is delicious. Very very good portions. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely food at a great price but it is the the staff that make this place stand out, even helped us out by giving us a bag of ice. After we had left the restaurant to buy a bag to take back to the hotel and had been unsuccessful, we just happened to bump into a waiter outside Chez Papa and ask where to but ice, he didnt know but gave us a bag full from the kitchen.

Where to start with this restaurant. Be aware that the cuisine from the Périgord is not the most diet friendly cuisine. So leave your diet at home because you are in for a food coma ( In a very very good way) The waiters are very friendly and they explain everything to you in case you are not accustomed with how rich the food is. Try everything, order different dishes if you are a group as the portions are huge and can easily be shared. This way you can taste many specialties. I will stop over next time providing I have a wheel chair waiting for me to take me home :)

My wife and I were travelling with a group of 11, all family. One night, we found ourselves on our own for dinner, and came to Chez Papa, around the corner from where we were staying. We were looking for something casual and simple. The menu here consists of the traditional dishes from southwest France, in the region around Bordeaux. The meal was quite good, and certainly plentiful. Our waiter, who also seemed to be the maitre 'd was helpful and attentive, and not at all intrusive. Of course he knew we were American, but between his adequate English and my rudimentary French, we got along quite well.
