"We really enjoyed this restaurant, one of the most beautiful spots in Loch Lomond. Although the separate vegan menu was no longer available (we had visited during COVID), there were several vegan options clearly marked on the main menu. We started with a delicious tomato salad and opted for a shepherd’s pie made with lentils for our main course. Both dishes were excellent, but we were truly amazed by the chocolate caramel brownie dessert — it was absolutely delicious!"

"Don’t eat here, don’t trust the reviews….This has to be the worst meal we have ever had. We ordered off the Turkish menu and what was presented was inedible. My husband couldn’t even try his main course due to the thick layer of grease covering the whole dish. We knew after the starters we should have cancelled the rest of the meal but we didn’t want to be rude….The waitress however was very nice."

"This restaurant is an absolute disgrace. A young girl who looked about 12 years old and seemed completely uninterested in her job served us, and gave me a dirty look when I pointed out that our table was dirty and several meals were missing items. The entire establishment is in need of a deep clean, with old food splattered on the walls and disgusting toilets. Despite not being busy, the staff allowed the place to deteriorate. I am furious that I wasted my money on such a terrible dining experience. It is clear that this restaurant is on the decline. What went so wrong here?"

"Visited 10th November about 10am after travelling from the Highlands back to England . Straight off the the road south .(perfect location). For £9.99 it was all you could eat. Cerial, fresh fruit, toast, (they even had crumpets) , pastries, yoghurt and a brilliant hot breakfast buffet. The staff were brilliant explained everything and showed us where everything was. We were not rushed and the staff kept checking that we were okay . We cannot recommend this place enough for the whole experience. I think I had 4 cups of tea. Thank you to the lovely staff that was on today .10 out of 10 Price £9.99 all in per person and if you have kids , They eat free Vegetarian options: Soya milk for drinks and apart from sausage and bacon you can eat everything else on they offer . "Came here on a whim after driving past. The restaurant itself is very dated and feels very run down. The carpets up to the toilets look like they have never been cleaned and are black with dirt. I ordered a medium rare steak with salad instead of chips. What I received was a bone dry steak with chips. No salad at all. Nobody came to check how the food was at any stage. The food came quickly and staff were pleasant enough but the quality of the food and dated, rundown interior means we would be unlikely to return."
