Popped in here as close to my hotel and wanted a fairly quick and reasonably priced Chinese meal. It ticked all the boxes really well. Good food and staff were polite and efficient too.

The food was decent and the portion size was good, but the service was almost rude, unless you were a young Chinese girl. The prices for drinks were overpriced, at £2.10 for a can of coke. However, the fast food option with no chips was a nice alternative.

We came across the Chop Chop authentic Asian restaurant opposite Kings Cross station. We went in for dinner and found the food to be excellent cheap good and fast. Service was also friendly and good. Bonus it is a stone’s throw from where we stayed at the Crestfield Hotel. We went back for dinner on another night. Must visit and try.

I’ve been visiting Chop Chop for years and planned a lunch on Sunday march the 1st. They normally answered the phone and took the message although English was not the strong point. As I got there the place is closed, work is going on to refurbish. good for them but the web page was accessible on Sunday and opening times given ... Completely disappointed that they do not care for regular guests because they know they will have others in such prime location. I’ll bring my guests elsewhere even after refurbishment!

Despite this, we decided to give it a try as we were feeling hungry. We ordered a hot and spicy soup containing pork, tofu, and other ingredients, which was flavorful and piping hot. However, we found the price of £3.90 for a small bowl to be a bit steep. The mince beans were tasty, but the beans were overcooked and lacked the desired crunch. Review for Chop Chop now known as Bamboo Inn. We went in and asked to be seated and the server (male, middle aged man was abrupt. We sat down and tried to catch his attention as he walked back towards us because he had walked off straight away after seating us. We asked if the garlic sauce was suitable for vegans.
