Dieses Restaurant ist im Sommer am besten, mit einer wunderschönen Terrasse. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich, einschließlich des fantastischen Buffets. Aufmerksamer und effizienter Service. Ich war noch nie enttäuscht.

Ich habe zwei Mal während meines Aufenthalts im Lausanne Palace Spa Hotel gefrühstückt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und der Service war gut und enttäuschte nicht. Der Preis für das Frühstück beträgt 40 Schweizer Franken.

Ein Freund und ich haben beschlossen, am Sonntagmorgen um 08:00 Uhr frühstücken zu gehen, obwohl wir nicht im Hotel übernachtet haben. Die Früchte, Gemüse sowie der Speck, Würstchen, Omeletts usw. waren frisch und gut zubereitet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und wusste genau, wann er unsere leeren Teller abräumen sollte. Ich werde sicherlich wieder hier Frühstückstreffen abhalten. Hinweis: Ich glaube, sie öffnen das Frühstück bereits um 07:30 Uhr. Speisekarte ansehen

Prior to Covid, we used to eat often to the Côté Jardin restaurant that is part of the Lausanne Palace complex. We came back in 2021, were not impressed, but wanted to give it another chance given the particular context we were all living in. We went back in August 2022 and were so disappointed: Service was extremely slow despite the fact the restaurant was 90% empty. We ordered 3 drinks among which 1 (small) glass of Champagne at 21 CHF. Nothing to eat with our drinks (olives, chips, …, whatever). We then ordered our meals and were never asked about wines. As no starch food was proposed with his meal, my husband ordered some rice. The hotel is nice, centrally located and the rooms are comfortable however I don’t recommend you to eat at the Côté Jardin !!The experience we had was awful. First of all, the food was unnasty and the plates came all at once. Moreover, the service doesn’t correspond to a 5-star hotel at all! We ordered several times to a lady and she forgot each time to bring what she was asked. The maître was also arrogant and he was like:” oh they didn’t bring you that?” in an angrily way for the waiters. In my opinion, the maître has to be more disciplined in order to has this position so that the waiters will be doing their job correctly! After weeks we finally secured a table to use our brunch voucher for two. I was very disappointed and embarrassed to discover, upon leaving that my Brunch voucher for 2 persons could only cover 1/3 of the initial price and needed to pay the extra. We were told it was due to having brunch during a festive period, but this was NEVER communicated that our voucher would not cover this, and we would need to pay extra, EVEN when we provided an image of our voucher upon reserving the table. The service manager apologized and explained other customers had experienced the same issue when using their vouchers so offered two complimentary digestive drinks.
