always a popular place to lunch. pleasant staff; relaxed atmosphere and freshly prepared eating. could only be improved with a more extensive menu of the day and a refreshment of the decoration in the bar area.

Food was excellent. Theatre is intimate and well worth a visit for the atmosphere. Super family and dog friendly. Staff attentive and food well cooked and presented. I live in St Andrews but have already placed cottiers on my favourites list and will definitely return....Worth the effort of stepping outside the city centre.

we held our high time at cottiers and could not have been happier as the day came out. good place for casual food and drinks. the menu is somewhat limited, but has different things for a lot of taste. it has a beer garden that is great in summer and they are dog friendly inside and outside. very much. from high times are happy here so that in summer there can be a high-time celebration. they have a quiz on a Tuesday night and the place is filled with it and there are various food and drinks offers during the week. the service is somewhat mixed and they sometimes end up at the bar that tries to be served for eating etc., as the workers do not visit regularly tables. they can eat or just drink at this place inside and outside. there is also a restaurant in the upper floor, but n...

this is a wine, only to convert we have let ourselves in for a quiet glass wine, as we have been immersing in for everlasting purposes to taste the place. we heard good things. the venue is beautiful. it is beautifully illuminated on the outside, in an atmospheric, low-lighted bar that had a very appealing ambiente. I should say that the beer selection looked great, and I think that if we had no bad wine experience, it would have been a good trip. we ordered a glass beaujolais (rift 69) from which they had run out so that we were offered instead of the rift 69 gamay noir. we are not familiar with this, but decided to try. at £6.80ish a glass, this seemed comparable in price and, we thought,...

Booked a table in the attic for dinner. We were promptly surrounded by half cut punters shouting and swearing who had been diverted up from the bar downstairs. This is unacceptable and disrespectful to customers who have come specially for dinner. It should either be...a restaurant space or a pub, not both. It didn 't get much better... I 'm bring generous to say the servers were poor at their job. The were disinterested to the point of being arrogant. Very much gave the impression of being students who had no interest in doing their job. Put down soup and dessert without noticing we had no spoons!!
